If they're the people we're trying to talk sense to, we're likely wasting our breaths because they've already taken a side, they just haven't owned up to it. You might possibly pull 1-2 back from the masses but I think there have to be better target populations to talk to with more return on investment of effort. All this recent "ban the AR" BS brought on by the Leftists, reminds me of a few decades ago, when that Lunatic Colin Furgeson shot up a commuter train in NY. He used a Glock with Winchesters "Black Talon" ammo. The fact they were Black projectiles with Nickel cases, and had a graphic on the box of Talons, drove the LIEberals NUTS. So much so, Winchester changed the name to Ranger SXT (or some such name). Lost the black/Nickel combo, and had a more generic looking box. LIEberals were happy. STUPID LIEberals.

It's the same thing with AR's. Anyone with common sense knows AKs, SKS's, hell, a Ruger 10-22, M14, Garand are just as deadly.
