Dad would have had two counts on my indictment:

1. Theft

2. Failure to follow the instructions of a responsible adult.

At eleven, I'd bet significant money she has been stealing for five or six years, likely with parental approval. I've seen little black kids filch candy and such at a grocery store I frequent on more than one occasion....in particular one little boy while his "dad" was watching. Its one of the neat things you see when your area gets "enriched" with cultural diversity.

These kids have no respect for anything or anyone. Neither do their parents. This kid was stealing someones property. She felt entitled to it. Well she wasn't. She also learned that if you steal or break the law it might hurt. The 11 year olds of today are the adults of tomorrow. Kids need to know there are consequences for their actions. An 11 year old can kill you as quick as a 29 year old. She got off way too easy. She should have been made to pay for the items she took or work it off.
