Dan Crenshaw is the type I wish they all were.

I saw him on CNN shortly after the Pete Davidson joke and he said something along the lines of 'I work hard not to offend and even harder to not be offended.' Or something close to it.

He added the caveat that he does think it's poor form in general to mock a veteran's war injuries.

He's a class act. Glad he won.

It was posted here a couple of days ago but was worth seeing again.

His point was Dan Crenshaw is from Texas and has the temerity and class to fend off the vicious attack on him by the slimey s.n.l. political hack - and to do so with amazing CLASS!
Further I think DeFlave's comment/post alludes to the fact that many (most?) Texas men would have beatthefuck out of said s.n.l. cretin as opposed to taking the "high road" (with "thick skin") like Representative Dan Crenshaw did!
The people of Texas District #2 should be VERY proud of Representative elect Crenshaw.
I know I am and I don't even live in Texas.

I was just waking up this morning and turned the T.V. on and there was a story out of Havre, Montana where a young woman "kicked" another young woman out of her pickup last night(?) and of course the kicked out woman froze to death!
Charges are being filed.
The frozen woman only had short pants on and low cut shoes - that would have been a tough way to go.
I hope the involved persons were not friends of yours - bad situation.

I suppose something good comes of this, but I have a hard time taking anyone serious that would appear on SNL...

I'm no fan of Davidson and I'm more than a bit tired of SNL's unrelenting attacks to the right.

But I find it ironic that so many MAGA folk endorse Trump's comments about a war hero and condemn a comic's joke even after his (and SNL's) mea culpa.

Davidson seemed sincere enough in his apology and Crenshaw handled it the right way. Time to move on.

We had a few snowflakes this morning, probably a good frost. It will probably kill the jalapeños, I picked a 5 gallon bucket a little while ago. I saved out 4 dozen to make poppers at the deer camp this weekend. They will warm some azzes up.
