If you are interested in WWII History you should read Neptune’s Inferno. We all know a bit about Midway and many other carrier battles. This book details the 6 surface battles that our navy fought with the Japanese, who had better night tactics and much better torpedoes. We triumphed in the end. The whole Guadalcanal conflict was the tipping point in the Pacific War.
