From what I've read, most kidney transplant patients are almost always physically able to return to work in less than a year, and many in as little as just a few months after their transplant surgery.
Safariman sure seems to be fully recovered from his kidney transplant now and physically healthy enough to do what ever he wants and as much as average "healthy" people his age can, he looks plenty healthy, but he still claims that he's medically disabled.

Then VAnimrod-(AKA)-4ager who knew him personally better than most everyone here started to hammer him hard about his history of ripping off elderly customers of his in shady illegal insurance and annuity business dealings and selling and buying modern firearms across state lines with just a C&R license, and kept getting worse with more and more of his shady dealings revealed the longer it went.

A good while prior to getting the kidney transplant a local pizza parlor he and his wife frequented there where the live put on a big day long fund raising benefit to help him out with medical expenses as apparently he'd been crying 'poor me' about not being able to afford to pay for his prescriptions.
In typical Safariman fashion, though, the very day of his fund raiser, he was online here at the Campfire trying to wheel and deal guns. He was not trying to sell outright any of his guns for money to pay for his own medicine, mind you, but trying to swap for and offering up other "trade goods" he had on guns for sale here in the classified forum.
