It is just so WRONG on many levels. I greatly fear for our society. Growing up in the late 40's early 50's I still have a clear cut view of the separation of the sexes with no grey areas. If you want to cross dress fine, but stay out of the opposet sex bathroom. I don't care how you identify, don't rub it in my face and I will just ignore your behavior.

If gender equality is real, why not just remove gender identity from all athletic sports.
Open up the contests to all. Let all apply for the same football teams, wrestling, swimming, track, boxing, MMA, etc.
The reason there has to be mens/womens classes in any athletic sports is obvious.
Only in the military are women promoted as being the physical equal to men.....it's amazing.

I’m with MontanaMarine, in that gender classes in sport should be eliminated. I remember that John McEnroe suggested that when the women’s circuit demanded equal pay. After a few years of women being out of everything but Curling, actual gender might make a comeback.
But I have to admit that I am grinning from time to time when I read that some guy that decided that he’s female (but still retains the male equipment) beats the world’s best women in this sport or that. And the women then say it isn’t fair.
Remember back when young girls wanted to play on the boys’ baseball team. Who ever dreamed back then that mediocre guy athletes would someday declare womanhood to compete with the women because they couldn’t compete with the top level guys.

If you take the boy who refused to wrestle girls he was doing so because of his Christian beliefs, the close physical contact AND he did not want to use force on a female.
But the liberals want equality and no recognition of the strengths and weaknesses of gender. They want that, but only in the ways they want it. They want to be able to switch back to disparity of force at will.
To apply consistent logic that would also mean they would have to abandon the assumption of a disparity of force in defense between genders. When a man uses force against a woman it would be no different than when a man uses force against a man, no assumption legal or otherwise of a disparity of force based on gender.
That about sums it up.....I have nothing to add
