Nothing like that........ had to work on the new kitchen hood and ended up with two Banquet pot pies. ROTFLMAO!!!
Good for you, I started to but got busy with chores...
Was talking to my son a few minutes ago (Wade), he has a rack of pork ribs on his Traeger smoker right now also!
Pics.....
Baked ham and cheesy potatoes for us.

I need to start smoking.......
Same as you...ribs on the grill and trying out a new sauce called Soul Brothers. 😎
Store bought NY's that will sit out for another hour and then go on the grill for 3 minutes.

And it's 4:20.

And the box tators.

Are done, my wife is always cooking too early.

Slow grilled a couple 2" thick ribeyes.

I have a smoker I haven't even unboxed. And tonight is looking like, Chicken, Spinach & Artichoke Quesadillas... Might put that smoker together and start thawing out some pork.

That was a joke.

I stick with cold beer and peasant steak...

Brian, if you don't mind me asking...

What did those two beauties set you back?

Combined 3.25lbs at $12.99/lb. total $42.22

I actually saved the label—might have to start scrapbooking.
That is a deal.

I was gonna guess $15/lb.

Of course you cooked them to perfection....

Smokin! 420
Ribeyes are great, I like to marinate mine in teriyaki and smoke with alderwood before finishing on the grill. Stella Artois goes great with everything, especially like a Stella draft with a good meal.
I don't have a problem with legally grown weed.

Hell, just like beer it's born from the Earth.

Problem is (some)people can't handle it and get lazy.

Or maybe they were just lazy to begin with.

I wish...

P
I have a colonoscopy early Monday morning. I haven't eaten since supper last night. Thanks a bunch.

Too much. If you want to continue the fraud, tone it down.

P
I've yet to fire up the smoker, maybe next weekend.

Today was Paella, cooked in a big skillet on the stovetop with pumpkin spice cake for desert.

On a seafood kick here.

Going back to Louisiana in a couple of weeks.

The gumbo and dads are amazing.
this weekend all deer venison:
10# sweet&spicey snack sticks
25# Leggs breakfast sausage
25# Curly's ring bolgna
15# Farmers sausage
15# Lemon sausage
15# chorizo
80# burger

Tonight was venison tacos and a Leinie's Creamy Dark
Taste dang good after burning through more than a few hundred rounds of 22LR, 9mm, 44 Mag, 223 and 45-70 today. Ttrying to destroy some steel plates all afternoon.
I usually grill enough for the week every Sunday night. Today was 3 chicken breasts, 3 venison burger steaks, some venison sausage, and steaks for tonight - NY strip for me and filets for my wife and son. And a nice 2006 Cabernet to wash it down!

tikka, umm dude, traeger. stop dinking around. a trager is like a freaking oven that produces smoke. put meat in, go to sleep, wake up the next morning and it cooked all night, add pellets, lay back down, come out when its done. The old school wood smokers are way too much hassle. used them for years, monkeyed around with results that were't always repeatable. pellet smokers produce everytime.
Beef fried rice here. I am already missing my smoker!!

Unfortunately, that is the truth...….my brother competes on the KCBS Tour, and all of his smokers are now pellet smokers. Even uses them for his catering business as well....

Been looking real hard at the Camp Chef Woodwind......if I'm going to spend that much money, may as well get one that will do EVERYTHING but the dishes afterwards!

Pellet grils are the chit. Set and forget for the most part...and the food quality is great.

Hahahah!

Good thing, the campfire reserve public safety officers would have been calling in an air strike from the Feds if you were actually burning one.

I have had a Traeger for a few years now and while I like it, I do not like the massive temp swings I'm getting so I ordered a new after-market controller that promises to improve greatly on Traegers controller.

Fingers crossed that it works.

'Lil Tex.

I believe they are putting the new and improved controller in them now which Traeger will gladly sell you for your older models for a mere $250.

I think I paid $80.00 for the after market.
Where Traegers really shine is long cooks like pork butts. 14 - 16 hours.

I go 14 for sliced pork and 16 if I'm gonna pull it.

for what I have invested in my custom HD smoker built by 'Spook'.........

and an unlimited fruit wood fire source........peach..apple..pear & cherry

I'll keep my wood fired smoker.......
Bread and water...at least better than last night which was sharp tongue and cold shoulder...LOL

Just kidding...wife is a great cook.

Same here. There is an art in the smok'n.

I am enjoying the relationship of the WSM and Thermoworks "Smoke" paired up.

Perfection.

A good sidebox smoker is a good set up too. Hell with smoking with glued wood.

yep........I'll never run outta fuel for a long time

My property has enough of every nut and fruit tree you can imagine. No problem with fuel.

I do have to buy Mesquite and Alder. No big deal.
