those are decent AR's. i have a couple. no problems and i've put around 5k cheapo ammo through the pair. i paid $545 right before the 2016 election. they are actually cheaper than $669 price around here. for $470 i don't think you can go wrong.

Swapped out the hand guard with a M4 hand guard that has an aluminum heat shield and replaced the MBUS with a GG&G rear sight and she is rock solid.

It is very much worth that price. The one pictured in SWcowboy's post has a front post and Magpul rear sight. So it's not an "optics ready" BS version. Ready to shoot as-is. If I didn't already have like, four AR's, I'd be all over it.

...and yes, one of them is a Smith and it is a fine weapon. I wouldn't pay double the price for a Colt over one of these.

I have the M&P Sport II and like it a lot. No heat shield in the hand guard, is the only drawback. But most will want to get a key mod hand guard on it, anyway.
