About 5 years ago I spent 5 days in downtown, I thought it was pretty cool. Good food. Wouldn't want to do it too often though. Pretty massive.

I saw where you could drive through the tolls and pay later without a penalty. I drove around for three days and never paid a toll. I forgot all about paying the tolls and I figured I drove through 20some. I got a bill for $68, three lousy tolls. Those people can't even steal right.

200 miles should not make that much difference in how people conduct themselves, but it sure as heck seems to. Maybe it is a Packer-Bear thing, but the people there are just wound real tight. They see a Wisconsin license plate and yielding to let you into traffic isn't happening. My Minnesota nephew and a buddy went to a Soldier Field Viking Bear game while wearing some of their purple Viking stuff and they nearly got beat up from violent Bear fans. He went to a Packer game up here wearing the same outfit and he said that the people were actually nice. We see those Chicago types up here every weekend and that probably tells you something right there. The attitude though is: We are Chicagoins and we are superior beings, so out of our way cheeseheads, we are here to recreate. What scares me is so many people think that they actually like it there.

Is pretty bad around the United Center. A ahort trip over is a cool pub w music called the Bottom Lounge. You definitely want to take a certain route to places. Avoid stopsigns/lights in some places. Bouncer told me two yrs before ( this 2016 ) he wouldn't ever go to that area.....but amazing clean up. Note: couple blocks east it was a chithole.....and then got good again. You best know literally what blocks are safe. Never go to Chicago alone. Drive w doors locked....windows up and passenger w gun. Legal. Even in Indianapolis......blow the sign or roll through if need be. There be wolves about looking for easy prey. They will steer clear of you if you look like youre paying attention.

Preshow party was at the lounge. Another music venue was running free shuttle to the United Center. It was fun and zero hassle. Had a great time. Years before at another show ( Aragon )....late exit....had to walk a long ways to vehicle. But certain fans tend to scare the local troublemakers. Buddy said same thing in Detroit. LMFAO

The city can be big n bad....but usually thats because people do stupid chit. My chithole burg has been way more problematic. As it is here and in Indy/chicago.......avoid the groid and all goes well
