But i'm young, and it's looking close.
Dunno. I [bleep] it up pretty good the first time
There's no such thing. There's a 12 year old in each and every one of us.
If I had to grow up, maybe I'd be a lumberjack. A big lumberjack, with a pet.[Linked Image]
Saw an older, well used single cab Ford ranger on the highway once with a sticker on the back window that said, "When I grow up I wanna be an F150 "

Many times I've rejoiced that I never got the farming gene. It's either in your DNA or it isn't. God bless farmers, they've grown me a lot of wildlife.

Give a farmer a Million $$$ and he’ll keep right on farming till he goes broke ! 🤠
Life's a journey, not a destination. Go camping, hang with friends, work, play.
After reading Zane Grey's autobiography as a youngster, I always thought he led a pretty good life.
So sucessful novelest.
Rock star would have been be fun in my younger days but I'd would have probably killed myself.
i never wanted to grow up, because i have to get a Job, move outta house, feed myself, buy a car, get a girl and several girls, and got my heart broken and get married and divorce and get married again and divorce again.
Independently wealthy for life.
Never did figure that out.
Being an old fart always appealed to me. I'm perfectly happy puttering around doing projects, running errands, and going fishing. I like the idea of taking a nap after lunch and taking a walk after dinner.

Day trips in the car, summer fishing trips up north and winters in Florida-- sign me up!
I don't know if this is a "Be" but having a better education along with a few more bucks would " Be" nice.

Both would go a long way.

Beyond that something in forestry.
I told my Dad I wanted to grow up and fly jets in the Navy

He told me. “Son you can’t have it both ways”. 😂
Dog catcher
Not sure. But, need to figure it out. Retirement will be "coming around the mountain" before too long...
I think if I'd been born rich instead of good lookin' I'd have a few more options. smile
At this point "growing up" means retiring. I'm getting a little closer to that. I want to do some volunteer work, maybe take a part time job in a bait shop or gun shop. There's nothing I'd like to do more than introduce some kids to the great outdoors and help set them up with a kit of gear to get started.

I do that now, but the "kids" tend to be a lot older than I think your are considering. I consider my days successful when I give people the idea that reloading is easy enough for them to do.
cowboy
I want to be a hand bra
I'm afraid I grew up some when pulling that sled up the hill was not worth the thrill of riding it down.
Married to Sweetness. Life is about as good as it gets right now.

Agree with the volunteer work. Have a cousin whose husband was a professional wood worker by trade. When they retired to Florida, he hooked up with Habitat For Humanity. Because of his skills, he ended up being "the guy" who inlet 2x4's and 2x6's into the kitchen studs for mounting cabinets. IIRC, he did the "inlets" for more than 500 kitchens before he passed.

I have always admired / envied the guys in the trades who could drive up and down roads and point out "I helped build this. I helped build that. I helped..." At the end of the day, they have something tangible to show for their work. In my line of work, when I walk out the door at the end of the day, there is nothing to indicate that I had ever been in the building...
Retired. Growing up to me is retiring so I can do what I want.
In case no one ever told ya, peter pan is a flaming queer.

That's not something anyone should aspire to be....unless youre a methodist
