Ha. For those who dont remember.
My East Texas dead shot deer, duck and squirrel killing uncle who played monster man for the Army football team long ago before being sent to Korea where he lost the good use of his right shooting eye (and later became a dead shot lefty) told us cousins and our dads and uncles around a winter hunt campfire one night years ago in the piney woods of East Texas about his bout with a case of crabs that attacked his privates when he was a private shooting spooks overseas in the Korean conflict that he successfully treated by pulling out the front of his pants behind a tent one night and dumping half a can of DDT into his drawers which he said made short work of the miscreants and provided lasting real relief from the irritating situation. I often wondered if that didnt possibly result in some of his old age ailments and idiosyncrasies.
He also told of "an aquaintance" who had to transport several of the captured enemy many miles to the rear for imprisonment after fighting a couple of days with no sleep and of fighting drifting off to sleep on the road one night and noticing the prisoners giving giving each other knowing looks after a long travel and then of having his rifle give off several well placed rounds which allowed his "friend" to get several hours of well deserved sleep.
