Dove season is only a few days away. Have a 3 barrel set that's been sitting in the safe too long.

[Linked Image]

26" VR with Lyman Cutts compensator.

26" VR Modified Choke

20" Improved Cyliinder with adjustable rifle sights

Stock has an epoxied "Woodlands" hydro-graphic pattern.

Matte Receiver and barrel have been cerakoted chocolate brown.

Very lightweight field gun!

Looks o be worth about 50 dollars? You might try posting a picture of a Remington if you want a better price.
Interesting, couldn't for the life of me put a value on it.

What happened to the nice wood a Wingmaster usually comes with?

Geno
;there you go DMc. a newcomer came to piss on your thread.
Guns are worth whatever you want them to be worth, if you are willing to wait long enough.

I'll weigh in even though I'm not a shotgun expert by a long shot. Since you haven't had any serious replies though...

I don't know how much the three barrels help it...quite a bit I'd say. The Cutts Comp is cool. I'm guessing 2 3/4", which hurts it. I'm further guessing it has been refinished.

$275 retail at absolute most. Probably more like $200 and that's because it's coming on to hunting season.
you might ask $325, take $275. I have WIngmasters only in my stable
Thanks Ethan.
Looks like I need to go with the original stock set.
I'm a fan of the older model Wingmasters, but the people who're going to pay the most for one don't want one like that one. They want it in original condition, and that's why it's hard to put a price on it.
That's not a Wingmaster.

It's a Remington. And an 870. It's just not a Wingmaster.

Problem being the buttstock and forend are mismatched. Seemed to have lost the Satin forend?

I have a 20 ga mag LW that looks like that. guy I got it from had cut down the original buttstock, poor job of it. I got a satin replacement from Numrich and haven't looked back.

Very fine steel wool for about 15 seconds on the forend will cure that mis-match. wink
DMc,

you may want to look around at prices for barrels before you let them go too cheap. You didn't mention if they are Remington barrels or aftermarket ones New ones are a bit spendy:

https://www.midwestgunworks.com/page/mgwi/prod/80064

Here's one with a Cutts on it for $350 used in 90% condition from this website: http://www.corsonsbarrels.com/rem870barrels.htm

Remington Shotgun Barrels

Mod 58 – 870 20ga Standard Weight

26” Cutts Vent Mod 58 - 870 90% $350

Just saying, if you let the whole combo go for cheap you might be losing out on some $$$..

Then again, you have to have a market for it.

Good luck with it.

Geno
250$ tops for everything
That cutts bbl for 350 is for a standard size 20.
Not a lightweight.

Might have been a factory offering.... hence the high price.

870 LW are neat. Smoothbore deer bbl make it a good HD rig. The fixed choke bbl w vent rib is a good all arounder.

Folks seem to want a pretty wingmaster or an express
Something between the two.....not original......is just a good hunting gun.

If wanting top dollar......sell the walnut stock set on Fleabay.

Sell the vent rib bbls there too.

Sell the gun as an HD or deer rig w rifle sight bbl.

You are most welcome.

Didn't see where DMc said it was a lightweight receiver. Maybe I missed it? I'm not enough of an expert to tell by looking either.

I figure each extra barrel has to worth at least $100, no?

Not every day you see a Wingmaster 20g with a Cutts on it. At least not where I've shot.

It is a 2 3/4" LW and handles like a "shooter" should. Skeet, Quail, or Doves.

Well, dang, just dang. If I was flush and in the market for another shotgun I'd be making an offer.

Geno

I gave a much nicer 20 gauge 870 away a few years ago.......

to my G/kids.......1973 mfg date
My brother passed in 1980 at twenty yoa. I kept his WM 20 ga LW with full choke barrel..................for about five years, until some POS burglarized my house and got away with it.

The only firearm I REALLY regret losing, or selling. I purchased a similar WM years ago, but it is not a LW and does not handle the same at all.
The parts are worth more than the whole. That's what Ebay is for...
