The Democratic Party obviously has a plan, which would appear to be either:
1) run old Joe because they know he cannot win and they don't want to waste cannon fodder, or
2) have someone marvelous swoop in at the convention and save the day without having to campaign much.

Which is it?

I think the plan is "a miracle at the convention."

And the hero will be Hillary.

Joe has really gotten nutty it shows how hard up the Dems are that this guy stays on top, well on top, no matter how much he screws up.

Were Joe to get elected his short tenure of incompetence would not be so bothersome as who he selects as his running mate. I don't put such machinations beyond the grasp of DNC planners.

Good theory.......... I'm sure the "producers" and "directors" at the DNC have some sort of script / action plan ready to go which will not appear to be to staged or pre-arranged.
