Jaws
I was up there a couple of weeks ago. One day when we were sitting on the beach, they made everyone get out of the water. Somebody thought they saw a fin. The freakin life guards and cops came out of nowhere. I thought someone was drowning about a 1/4 mile down.. Then a life guard ran down the beach and was telling everyone to get out. There's plenty out there.

Last year, we were fishing on Smith's Point, Nantucket. The sand drops off into the rip and the water is clear. We had 8' Brown Sharks (I think) swimming 10' from where I was standing. Could have reached out with my rod and poked them as they swam by.
Excellent video, thanks Roger. That place is home away from home for me. One of these days, I need to go out on a charter for tuna. I've only caught one Benito in my life. Usually when I'm there in August, it seems like they're not in on the beach. There's a sandbar in between Nantucket and Tuckernuck on the south side they call the Benito Bar. They bang the hell out of them every time I'm there.

Last year one time, we were cruising around on Great Point, and we stopped at a spot that usually produces fish, and this guy was there shark fishing. I've seen him around up there before taking parties surf fishing. He was using a bigger Penn reel than what I use with some heavy braided line. He told me what pound test it was, but I can't remember. I posted these pics last year one time, but it's worth another post. This was about a 6 foot Brown I think.
