Veggie pizza? In other words, left-over pizza.

My Food Rule is "If it tastes good, it's good", whether pizza, chili, or any of the stuff people get snooty about. Tradition's all well and good, but shouldn't keep you from enjoying something tasty.

Pineapple and ham is okay, as is spinach, tomato, and mushroom, but the standard for me is sausage, mushroom, and extra cheese. Ledo's uses provolone, which I like, but nothing against mozzarella. When I'm feeling frisky, I might have them put anchovies on half.

Never had a pizza better than just okay from any of the usual chains.

Pineapples contain a digestive enzyme known as bromelain,this is an enzyme known as a proteolytic enzyme which helps break down proteins into amino acids.

Papaya is another,papain is the proteolityc enzyme in this fruit.

I questioned it the first time I saw a hawaiian style pizza with ham and pineapple but I have to admit it does work really good together. Some things that don't seem intuitively obvious at first glance ending up tasting fantastic, you never know until you try it.

Nay, we go for all the meat products and olives for taste, leave the pineapple for the ladies...and reheat and finish what is left of theirs when they go to bed.

Odds on they won't touch ours so it is safe to leave it in the fridge.

Pizza and pineapple are made for each other. Love it.

Over the years, I've gravitated to the original margarite style, as invented in Italy. I quit ordering the slab of grease that normally makes up a pepperoni pizza. We had a local place that made up a cheese and garlic pizza that was great. We'd order it with green peppers, black olives, mushrooms, and Italian sausage added. Two slices each and freeze half. But they changed cooks or something, and it went downhill.

I'd rather have a veggie pizza than one that's heavy with fat and grease. And never a "Hawaiian".

Never tried it. Never tried pineapple on my red sauce either. Gotta follow Rocky's lead, much of what is passed off as pizza just isn't. One "premium" pizza in this region is enough mozzarella for three or four pizzas with a dab of tasteless sauce on equally tasteless bread. Get one with the greasy pepperoni for a real fat bomb.

We get a Papa Murphy's take-n-bake every month or so. Lately it's been: sausage, pepperoni, salami, tomatoes, extra parmesan, artichoke hearts, green onions, and pineapple.

Had a Hawaiian pizza in a bar many years ago, I liked it but wife will never agree to try it.

Of course not! It's native to Italy.

In college, Sunday nights was "on your own" as the cafeterias were closed . . . The local pizza joint was always popular . . . On a challenge one time I tried a pineapple and baby shrimp pizza, actually it was very tasty and I ordered it semi-regularly after that.

Worked at a pizza place in HS . . . had one regular customer order what we called a "scab", a pizza with EVERYTHING on it, if we had it in the kitchen, it went on top of the pizza. All the regular toppings plus sauerkraut, pineapple, tuna, anchovies & etc . . . anything and everything. made a small version for myself one time, believe it or not, it was good.

in my op pineapple is good on any thing and buy its self .a chunk in a glass of any good licker is good also

Mine too when I go there.

I never get hungry enough to eat anything from Domino's or MacDonalds ever.

Some people will eat anything..... then some of us are more picky about what we eat.

I made some Pineapple Marinated in Everclear for about 5 years in the fridge
My girlfriend asked if she could put some on her pizza one night.
It was the first time I ever seen anyone get drunk on their Arrs from eating Pizza.
She was Laughing and stumbling around after about 20 minutes.
She is a Fun Drunk. Kinda wish I still had some of that Home made Fruit at times.

You can put your foot down every now and then .

I like it well enough. Not a lot of it, but just enough sweetness to offset other flavors.

I dig Hawaiian pizzas, but I'm not picky either. Schitty crust or sauce will screw up a pizza far more than the toppings.
