Sam's cooler thread demands we post an updated list of products up which the 'fire will not put.

I shall start with Yeti of course.

All things Proctor, and Gamble.

When we are finished with that list, we will be free to go on to no beans in chili, no ice in whisky, and the like.

Go ahead. laugh

Posted By: m1rifleman Re: Updated Boycott List. - 08/26/19

Posted By: SockPuppet Re: Updated Boycott List. - 08/26/19
Levi's, I think. But why would a man buy those anyway?
Posted By: LeroyBeans Re: Updated Boycott List. - 08/26/19
Levys have to be on there somewhere.
Posted By: LeroyBeans Re: Updated Boycott List. - 08/26/19
All things General Motors of course.
Posted By: bowmanh Re: Updated Boycott List. - 08/26/19
Haven't bought Levis in decades.

Hotdogs, nobody should eat lips or azzholes. Granola, that's like stealing from a horse. Macdonald's, unless you do it specifically to get an enema.

Here's my list, off the top of my head:

Gillette (Proctor & Gamble)
Nike
Target
Kellogs
K-Mart
Levi Strauss
Dicks Sporting Goods
Nabisco (Oreos)
Ben & Jerry's
Google (to the extent that I can avoid using it)
Wells Fargo
Bank of America
Amazon (to the extent that I can avoid using it)
Disney
Office Depot
Kellogs
Marvel
Penzy's Spices
Facebook
Patagonia
Snopes.com
Starbucks
NetFlix
NFL
NPR, PBS, NBC, CBS, ABC, MSNBC, ESPN, etc.

A notable exception for me is Apple/MAC computers.

There are many, many more Leftist companies I don't patronize.

Dang...I like them golden oreos.
Posted By: High_Noon Re: Updated Boycott List. - 08/26/19

As I stated, Screw Oreos.

Let's just get to it, if ya don't shoot it, catch it, or raise it, its boycott. Homemade soap gets you clean.
Posted By: Jim_Conrad Re: Updated Boycott List. - 08/26/19
I got a bag of the Lemon Oreos in the cupboard right now!

What we say we boycott,

and what we actually do boycott,

is 2 completely different things
Posted By: 2ndwind Re: Updated Boycott List. - 08/26/19
I'm actually pretty good at boycotting Leftist stuff.... except for having an Amazon prime account. Living in a rural area and still being able to get pretty much anything I can spell delivered to my door in 2 days is pretty addictive.

Wally World sells a cookie that I like just as good as Oreo and it cost a whole lot less. It's sold under the house brand name. Usually find it on the bottom shelf.

Wasn't it Wells Fargo that just said they would continue to do business with gun dealers and manufacturers?

Sorry my gray haired memory struck - it was Visa

Anything ghetto.

Don't patronize almost all of the the companies on the list. Some of these companies still put out an outstanding product.

I do enjoy a cold glass of milk with some Oreos. I am a hypocrite.

I use Dawn dish soap too. I am a hypocrite.

Amazon stock is in my 401K. I am a hypocrite.

Used to like Ben and Jerry's Chunky Monkey ice cream. Not a hypocrite.

Is there a purity test? Are personal exemptions allowed based on favorites?

Does anyone know for sure?

And, yes to beans in chili. There, I said it! smile

Good man!

Conservatives don't boycott well. If they did, these left leaning companies would loose half their business. The left boycotts and actually move companies CEO's left. Of all the products listed, there are competitors replacements. Keebler cookies are very good. Don't have to get Nabisco products. Nabisco moved their Ritz factory to Mexico. Now Ritz are so crumbly, you can't dip or spread anything on them very well. Keebler makes a good replacement cracker. Gillette can be replaced. I use a Norelco electric shaver. Works fiine. Then there is Schlick razors.

I say enough is enough with these leftist companies.

You folks actually BUY cookies at the grocery?

I just get them on my computer. 🤔
Posted By: 5sdad Re: Updated Boycott List. - 08/27/19
A question for those who boycott based on political belief/stances: Do you vet servers for correctness of belief before tipping?
I have been boycotting stuff way before anyone ever even talked about it...befor the Internet...I had boycotted Walmart years ago probably somtime in the early 90s...in the early days Walmart only sold american made goods...when there stuff leaped overseas I bailed...have never shopped there since...

Instead of boycotting I made a conscious decision to buy american when ever possible...it is out ther if you look
I found I save a lot of money in the long run buying quality...
I boycot anything made in China and have for years....when possible...

If were going to boycott everything on the list we need to go back to growing your own food, making your own clothes and walking everywhere or riding your horse. I suppose you could sit in a room and stare out the window.

The Carrot Cake Oreos could be made out of puppies and bird droppings by Antifa operatives, and I would still buy a pack every once in a while. Addictive as all get out.
