Ron;
Good evening to you sir, I hope the last Wednesday in August was a good one for you and this finds you well.

Way, way back, I was contacted by Scott as he was trucking rolls of cardboard up past our place and there was some issues with the mountain beside the highway sliding onto the highway - so Scott asked my opinion on detour routes and such.

The first time we met he was in the parking lot of the packaging plant taking the load and we visited until way too late for both of us.

The second time, I met him down at the highway and he came up to our place for breakfast - being Scott - he brought us a dozen farm fresh eggs! laugh cool

Anyway we've had dozens of exchanges since then and he's treated me in an exemplary manner in all ways and at all times.

As well, since we're both believers in the same God - as far as we could figure anyway Ron - he's prayed for my family at my request and I've been honored to return the favor.

We still correspond from time to time now and hopefully in the not too distant future we'll cross paths in the flesh again.

All the best to you folks as we head into fall and our hunting seasons Ron.

I’m glad he don’t.
There’s a whole slew of others that should follow suit.
Scott is a solid fella. Quick to lend a hand and always a kind word.

He’s doing well.

ScottF is a good guy. He is a loss here.
Yep, Scott is one of the good ones. My legs fit under his table and his coffee was good the few times I stopped to shoot the breeze with him. He hosted at least two campfire gatherings at his farm where he used to live near Discovery Bay.

Holy balls! I’d forgotten about that retard. Lol.

His drama bullschit about his buddy and the wandering wife was pretty epic!
Scot was a good guy!

ROFL!!!!!!!!! Hey, good to hear from you, man!!
Ron notified me about this post so I looked it up. A lot of noise things sad about me and it isn't even my funeral. Sorry Tom :-)

My wife and I are camping in Eastern Oregon having a good time and looking to fill my dad tag. Retirement has been good to us.

Maybe I will check in a little more often just to bug Tom and say hello to the good guys.
It's usually a mistake to insult one of the good guys on the 'fire.
are you down in Malheur?
Sure glad no one calls me the "member" from Oregon.

I just consider the source. I have mellowed in my old age.

Fossil, I have a ag cow tag good until the end of February. It is almost all private land in this unit but our nephew is the only mobil repair around so I have no trouble finding places to hunt. It is to hot to really hunt now but I am scouting with a rifle for now.

It’s nice to know that you’re still around.......jerk. 😁

I hope you fill your tags and continue to enjoy your family, your retirement and quality time with your wife.

For a jerk you’re one of the jerks that’s missed around here. 👍
Thanks good folks, I'm glad I asked the question.

Hey Scott, good to hear you are doing well and enjoying retirement! I always enjoyed the pictures you used to post of your farm. Glad to know you will be out hunting this fall. Hope you get a couple of freezers full of meat! Post pictures when you do. Good luck and stop by a little more often. It's good to hear from you. Take care.

Look in the mirror. It's the exact opposite of that image.

No dog in this fight, don't know you or Scott, but, you asked.

Clyde
A *good guy* is someone that "plays well with others" on a given internet format. I think of a Roman bathhouse.
