one thing about walmart, they just gave a way a ton of market to competitors such as academy, bass pro, mail order, and also lgs.

that is, because of their decisioning to "do good." they've lost a big share of a lucrative market.

maybe they're making enough off of chiner imports that they feel like the PR goodwill is worth it?

We have a new Rural King a 1/2 mile from my house. Better prices on guns and ammo than other places. I can order online from other Rural King inventories and do a free transfer at our store.

We don't have those around here I wish we did...

One of my favorite local stores.

So do we......a lot of their stuff is overpriced but their sales (about twice a month) have great deals.

Good prices on dog food too......and they still sell Wrangler 13MWZ's for $19.95.

Another plus is that they sell Federal Auto Match for about the same price as WM which is the only ammo I've ever bought there.

I thought the same thing, They don't charge you everything you take a [bleep], do they ? i believe there is a suggestion box at the store and you can easy input you concerns there. at least RK are not caving...

You do when a restroom is as nasty as the one slumlord and I are talking about. You can sometimes smell it as you walk past it.

Besides, when you reach a certain age, the first thing you look for when you go in a store is the restroom sign......lol.

That, and the 352 live chicks they told corkinstien to take of that were found in the bottom of a dumpster.

I like the popcorn also.

I just don't like getting the popcorn after some old fart wipes his nose with his hand, and then uses the same scoop that I'd use. That's when I walk away.

It can be risky at the popcorn machine.

I was at the Powderly KY Rural King waiting to get a bag of popcorn, behind some old lady who was coughing. I know she was just trying to be nice, but she scooped up a bag, and turned around and handed it to me. I said thanks, walked off, and set it down on the 99 cent flip-flops counter.

I'm picky about my damn popcorn!!

If I am out running errands or traveling and need to grunt one out, I will go into a store that I know has clean restrooms. There's no telling how much money I have spent in those stores on my dump excursions. Maintaining clean restrooms is a smart business practice.

When the tile on the floor around the urinals and toilets looks like decades old soaked pizz pills and the color changes away from the toliet or urinal to it's original shade.
And it's the same tile from when it was kmart in 1991.

Took a whiz in the RK the other day, urinals were so clean I debated whether or not just to piss on the nasty K-Mart floor.

I judge every business by their restrooms. If they don't have a clean restroom, then that means that's there's some milktoast supervisor in that business.

Every FNG that starts out should start out in the shîtter. It makes them a humble employee and one that can handle any task from henceforth.

Dirty bathroom = lazy employees with no leadership.
