My new symbol is not a quilt pattern. It is the ancient Greek symbol denting a person of great wisdom and flawless character. A quilt would be much more appropriate.

All this prompted me to get my own avatar & somehow got it in place. Then I decided I didn't like it & the only way & can get rid of it is to go back to my pink quilt. Now I can't get it to accept another pic.

An old problem still exists. I got rid of my quilt by uploading a picture of a polar bear in a blizzard. Worked fine. Now, a few days later, I try to upload a real image. 79x79 ,gif and it won't take. I'm stuck with the polar bear in a blizzard. I've used that .gif before.

Same thing happened months ago. Eventually the system will let me change avatars if I wait long enough, something like a week IIRC. Is there a limit on how often you can tinker with your avatar?

It was the ad blocker. Doh!
What fooled me is sometimes it would update and sometimes it wouldn't with the ad blocker up.

Picture used to post, Only difference I can see is that the space my ISP gives me is not secure. Is that what's up?

Further experiments indicate that's not the problem. Out of ideas on why :I get a link instead of an image. Very annoying, breaks up the continuity of a post.
