Bought one of these and it just came tonight,
Holy crap! this thing will bust your nuts!!
1400 ft lbs to remove.
1000 ft lbs to install.
I do believe Milwaukee has perfected the electric Impact.
Just an FYI, you can get it on Ebay with a 6.0 amp battery for $262.99
1/2, it's the fuel version,
Milwaukee 2767-20
Son Jake has a DeWalt 20V that is amazing. .
I have one that’s 1/2” drive. It’s very powerful and very handy.
I have the same one.
They don’t play.
The JD mechanic that helps me wit the combine just got one,of those....holly cow it's a beast....I have an old Ingersall Rand impact that was always the king in the shop...it would beat the snap on no problem...
We had to remove the feeder house and the 2 bolts were really tight...my IR wouldn't budge them....the Milwaukee got one and the other took a 6 ft cheater...
I'm impressed.....
I use mine to install the drain plug on Sam’s moms truck.
Someone let me try this impact to remove a skid loader tire. Never used one before. The power surprised me.

Those bolts can be tight.
Had em out a couple weeks ago.
I still prefer air tools myself.
I run a gypo Harbor Freight plug in that just works.

I was the same way until I tried a friends a couple of weeks ago, I have an I/R air impact and this thing beats it hands down and you can just take it with you where ever ya go.
You should really try one, you won't be disappointed.

I do too back at the shop where I have plenty of air volume. Not so much in the field running off a couple gallon air tank.
When I see where Milwaukee is these days, it makes me a little bummed I went Makita.
Nothing a bunch of money won't fix, but still.....
Yes they are
I have the Kobalt, no more dicking with the 100ft air compressor hoses.
I’ve got the v1.0 of that. 700/1100 lb/#?
It’s been handy. Lug nuts to changing bush hog blades.

If you look at the shoulder on that thing, you’ll see it’s an Ackley Improved.
I zipped some lag bolts into a set of gate posts a couple weeks ago.
I’ve had mine a couple of years. It’s the 2623-20. Buy one like listed or mine. The one in the kits is a lesser unit. Friends have bought at least 3 of that model after using mine.

What are you going to do with that heavy equipment, Paul?

Pretty much anything I want.............
I use an impact often and this thing will be great. like Slum said no more dragging a 100 or 200 ft of air hose out.
Hell I'll eve take it with me when I haul the trailer, be nice to have if there's a flat.
If you're on the road, what will power it?

So what you are saying, is you have a Milwaukee electric impact ( Creed Moore)
If you're on the road, what will power it?
Spit on it and rub it a little.

Come on over here and say that mister.........I'll tighten your nuts up with it.

Battery.

I bought a Makita XWT08XV from Kingstons review on Sammo's old thread on battery powered impact wrenches. Love that thing. It's not a nut buster like that Milwaukee but has 1180 twisting off and 740 ft.lbs twisting on. I love this wrench.
It's got me thinking about a 36V Makita chainsaw.
I like Milwaukee tools. I have a 1/2 inch drive right-angle Milwaukee electrician's drill that I have been using for 32 years, building log cabins.
Beautiful tool.
I still prefer air tools myself.

I have some of both, although I have DeWalt.
Handy for some things yes.....but bulky and heavy and slow.
Yes, the air hose is a bummer sometimes.
They use these big batteries in cordless extrication tools now.
A first glance they seem superior in every way.
I'm so old all I can think about is air hoses, extension cords and electric generators. Sheesh. I have a couple of those battery powered devices. They are worthless. Either the batteries are always down or cant be found or the chargers walk off. I put those suckers up, too. I just cant remember where.
Would you recommend the friction or ball detent model for home use?
This thing is unbelievable! Spun a 3/4 bolt loose that holds the track frame to the bulldozer that has never been off the 40 year old machine from new. Hammered on it for a few seconds and spun off like the threads were oiled. Going to see if it will spin off the 33mm nuts that fasten the hub piloted rims on the Mack. Looks like the days of turning on the air compressor to change one tire are over.
Great tools, and we use them at work. Got to be careful on lugnuts, else you might flip the truck over.....
wears my gotdamn big 4-way? lol, nice work saver Mag.
They're definitely a game changer. Inverter in the truck with a couple batteries and you're good to go.
I'am not getting any younger so laying on breaker bars with pipes is one of the options I try to avoid.
wears my gotdamn big 4-way? lol, nice work saver Mag.
Ya don't need it Brother, just get yourself some "FUEL".................
You definitely have to adjust to this thing, ya can't use it like you did your air impact else ya might be snappin" schit!
I havent lifted my jeep because my back is fugged. Ive done several over the years w hand tools. No air.
Last one was 13 yrs ago.
With this fugger i can do my deer hauler. Thanks for the heads up

Have the Dems tried to ban this yet?

They will when they see how efficient and lawful they are.

Well Duh!
I got mine for free. It was on the side of highway where I stopped to take a few pics of a jobsite. I asked the contractor if they were missing one. He looked and said "nope." But he said "here, you'll need this" It was a battery charger. Pretty sweet deal!

Quit lifting jeeps and it may help your back.
F cordless tools.
They appear perfect for me.
Smaller projects, never in a shop....
I have had several generations of different tools, always pleased
with the performance, good working life.
Then the battery dies. And batteries are as expensive as a new tool.
Had a complete set of saws, drill,.. ni-cad. Great tools, obtained a few extra batteries. Life was good.
Then one day, one battery said, "let's quit" and all but one died.
At the same time.
Replaced with several lithium ions.
Same story.
I use cords now.
