Darlene's daddy,...I can still see him kicked back on the couch watchin' TV with about 3" of his white cotton socks hangin' off his toes,.....smokin' a cigarette and drinkin' a cup of coffee.
Darlene would say, "I'm gonna be a Nurse."
Jim would break away from the TV long enough to say, "Humph!,...you got ta have a *brain* to be a nurse!"
Then he'd take another big pull on his cigarette.

Took a tour of Carlsbad Caverns and Jim Davis was among our group. He had 2 babes hanging all over him. Was hard to concentrate on the stalactites when my own stalagmite was an issue.
