I'll be watching the Eagles. I was an Eagles fan growing up but I lost interest. I'll be watching tonight only because I will be meeting up with friends. I still want the Eagles to win but I could probably only name a handful of players. If the Eagles lose tonight, their whole season may go down the tubes.

FWIW, Reggie White was my favorite Eagles player ever. I hated when he left but was happy to see him win the Super Bowl with the Packers.

How did the Packers get their name? What exactly is it that they pack? Seems I remember someone once told me it had something to do with packing meat?

As I under stand, they were part time football players, full time meat packers. Green Bay was, and is a center for slaughtering dairy cows, and bulls. I have been told some plants there can handle bulls to large for a lot of plants, the chain is high enough so the carcass does not drag on the kill floor.
