The baseball regular season is over. The playoffs will string out for some time.
It was a rather odd summer, as if they all are not.

Enjoy the Autumn season.

normal temp is 73

Not here in the Denver area. Forcasted low tonight of around 65 F.

Summer departed here awhile ago. Add the fact that we have no humidity and usually a nice breeze, the weather here rocks.

77 when I left the house this AM, 95 is the high today!
Posted By: BlueDuck Re: The Summers Gone. - 09/30/19
Its gone here. 32 degrees this morning and snow on the ground.
Posted By: JeffyD Re: The Summers Gone. - 09/30/19
It may be officially gone, but with temps here in south Jersey in the 80's w/ high humidity, it hasn't gone anywhere. mad
Posted By: simonkenton7 Re: The Summers Gone. - 09/30/19
Spring has sprung
Fall has fell
Summer's here
And its hot as hell

Here in the NC mountains we are having record breaking heat, and drought. Supposed to hit 88 today, that will be a record for the day.
Posted By: JPro Re: The Summers Gone. - 09/30/19
97 degree high tomorrow for the bow season opener in Louisiana. Summer still rolling here, about 15 degree's hotter than normal for October 1.
Posted By: RockyRaab Re: The Summers Gone. - 09/30/19
The months of needing a 7 a.m. tee time to avoid golfing when it's 90° are past, for sure.

After the storms this weekend, it is 38° right now, looking for a high of 53°.
Posted By: hanco Re: The Summers Gone. - 09/30/19
We are supposed to cool down to the eighties in about ten days.
Posted By: RockyRaab Re: The Summers Gone. - 09/30/19
Also just had my last "Buzzed Tomato" breakfast of the year, most likely. There's a hint of frost on the roofs behind me, and the 'maters can't hold out much longer.
Posted By: tikkanut Re: The Summers Gone. - 09/30/19

perfect September here this week

34* overnight......68* day time highs

I was sick of the summer heat......two fuggin months of 88* plus
Posted By: JoeBob Re: The Summers Gone. - 09/30/19
Cold front coming through. It is supposed to be down to 88 by Saturday. I can’t wait.
Posted By: Huntz Re: The Summers Gone. - 09/30/19
I can`t complain about the heat, but sure wish it would stop raining.Amazingly no signs of a frost and my garden is still producing.
Posted By: fishnpbr Re: The Summers Gone. - 09/30/19
Hallefuckinglujah!! I hate summer!! Bring on some crispy fall temps, then winter. It's going to be 85 here on Tuesday mad then a nice cool down on the weekend for the start of my archery deer season.
Posted By: RockyRaab Re: The Summers Gone. - 09/30/19
Today is officially the last day of our water year, and a really wet one it was! As of this morning, I recorded 30.23" at my house, compared to the annual average here of 22.3". May and September were both way above the norm. They are going to have to actually dump water out of our reservoirs this Winter to keep from overfilling them next Spring.
Posted By: tikkanut Re: The Summers Gone. - 09/30/19

only water we got recently......

still coming out of an irrigation pipe.......

over full reservoirs is a good thing !
Posted By: joken2 Re: The Summers Gone. - 09/30/19

Highs in the mid to upper 90s and dry for most of this week but a cool down predicted starting Friday. The predicted high for today is 96 but no record expected broken as the record high is 99 set back in 1919. We've only had 1/10th of an inch total precipitation for the whole month of September which could probably be a record.

Worst year since .72.. Wet, cold, nearly EVERY day.. Other than the trip to TN/KY I don't think I have more than about 1800 miles on the bike when, on a normal year, I'd have about 6-7,000 miles on it..

Rain again here now.. As was yesterday.. As will be tomorrow. As will be Wednesday.. Two bunkers to fill yet and the chopper can't get NEAR the fields..

Always lament the end of summer, there are only so many summers in a lifetime.
Posted By: tikkanut Re: The Summers Gone. - 09/30/19

my part of Utah has been as dry as a popcorn fart.........18% humidity right now & 66*

Seems SW Utah had 100 days w/o any rain......

The summer's gone, and all the roses falling,
It's you, it's you must go and I must bide.

But come ye back when summer's in the meadow,
Or when the valley's hushed and white with snow,

Only 98* [heat index about 110*] at my hunting lease today - going down to a blustery 75* tonight . Lots of sunshine too - like blazing all day every day - saw a small hazey cloud about a week ago darkened the ground about 5% for about five minutes .
Hopefully we'll get another 85* Christmas season ,, love that I do !
Come on down everybody i'm making permanent room for one this upcoming spring and i'll never step foot in this state again .....

We get a solid 5 months of it down here. Spending time up north in the summers, I can see why you guys love them. We pretty much hate May-September down here. The other 7 months of the year ain't bad though.

Ha!!
Posted By: JLimbo Re: The Summers Gone. - 09/30/19
Yes summer is officially gone. It snowed a bit at my house this morning.

Maybe where you live but it’s still pretty warm here...95 degrees😊
Posted By: Blackheart Re: The Summers Gone. - 10/01/19
We had a high of 52* here in upstate NY today. Forecast says highs in the 50's and 60's the rest of the week and the trees are ablaze with color. Summer is done. Fall is here.
