yep. there's nearly the limit.

then there's the limit itself.

and then crossing over the limit.

when one crosses over the limit, what happens next??
lotta things can push a man to the limit.

Hope whatever this one is it isn't too bad.

Except, almost reaching the limit for fishin' or shootin' birds is a good thing, right...................hoping that's that's the case this morning.

Geno

Suppose the aliens got Sam?
The Hi Line can have it's limits.

Well, last night was Saturday. Maybe he stayed up late, and just about finished the case of beer and bottle of Jack. grin

Thankfully,

Gus appears to have few limits........................to the questions he might ask.

Geno
We don't dare risk any more lost time. I say we send out the rescue dogs.[Linked Image from kwmedia.scdn8.secure.raxcdn.com]
I bet I know what you are talking about, Sam.

Hang in there.

You'll be glad you did in the long run. Sometimes you just gotta grit your teeth and bite your tongue.

LOL
After reading Barry's post I think this may be a serious issue. I hope if it is Sam gets it worked out. '

Sam is one of the good guys here.

if i'm understanding the general conversation correctly, and he & she have no children, they have no real problems.

make believe problems can occur, and manifest at about any time, any where, any day of the week.

but real problems come when there's teen agers in the house, and they have minds of their own.

a tall, blue-eyed blonde teenager with a mind of her own, with plenty of intelligence.

thanks to Mr. Olson, we have been asked to address the borderline questions.

i just hate it when asked to bump up against the borderline, and then go further.
Roosters?
Yo Sam!

Whats cooking good looking?
If Sam is seriously having a problem, I'm sorry I was having fun with it.

Rather we should life up a Campfire prayer for Sam, and family.

Come on back Sam, we are all pulling for you.
Always something with farming and ranching.

Pretty much requires the patience of Jobe.

It's not like Sam to do a "deflave" act on us.
I figured he just read how much better Polaris is than his Yamaha for serious muddin laugh
Gentlemen, sorry for the delay!

We had company stop over right after I posted.

Okay now, I do believe Geno was first to figure out the 'problem'.

Indeed it was almost a limit. Had three birds down in 3 different flushes(all singles) but couldn't find one runner, two cocks is plenty enough...

Talk about a beautiful morning for a walk, zero wind.

Cock Tease grin
Tell the dog to bring back ALL the brandy! laugh
See how ya are???

laugh

Glad it twern't nuthin' major! smile
In my own defense...

Any man working for the family outfit, or that has a wife,... is running on bald tires half the time... Just waiting for the next blowout... laugh
Fats, you know you like it!

Richard, is that what was in that jug?!

Barry, I know exactly what you mean. Calving and farming can cause multiple blowouts!
Blasting cocks......

I envy few, you sir are the exception.
No dog? Damn....
I got all worked up for nothing.......
Sam, the prodigal child, the dog and cask are a web image. Don't scare us like that.

I think the least you owe us is a picture of those birds all cooked up.

You don't get down to the cooking section do you?

When you know where the birds are, I swear sometimes dogs are a handicap. Lol.

Still wouldn’t take a walk without one if I could help it. 😊
That is a very cool picture, you have an artist's eye and live in inspiring country....cocktease.

I had a coworker once who when asked “Hey Gary, how ya doin?”, would reply, “Bout had it.”

When you're lookin' for your freedom...and nobody seems to care
Sam was cock-blocked.

And that third bird. ammo is expensive. Or no treats.
The next time Sam cries wolf, we shall not get so excited. One deflave to a forum is more than enough. laugh

Even a California blind squirrel finds a nut now and then........................

Besides, I'm one smart sumbisch!

let's see.

Time of year: Check

Season's open: Check

One of Sam's favorite things to post pics about: Check.

Sherlock Holmes I ain't, but I do OK for a piker.

Geno

PS, I wish we had more peasants around here, the feathered kind. I'm thinking about raising some on my 7 acre RANCH!. Let them go free range, see if they take over the BLM land behind us. There's a few around the refuge near town, but I don't know of any in huntable areas. Maybe I can change that.

Nice shotgun.
Hahaha!
Well ain’t you the sumbitch ?

But you’re our sumbitch 🤷🏻‍♂️
One runner that got away?

Where was that beautiful heeler we so often see in you pics?

My brothers cowdog and mine never let a pheasant escape. His full blood heeler was the best pointer I ever hunted over. Once he ran a couple miles and slowed up a bit anyway.

Crossing over the limit back and forth, if said limit exists, happens all the time when your sequence is Cauchy and your space is complete. grin

Limits and bounds aren't always the same. grin
I thought perhaps it was raining again while you were trying to combine! Been a rough harvest up there for the farmers.
