I've always thought the quilts were childish and somewhat annoying but when I logged on this morning I discovered the missing up/top button is back at the bottom right of the page and my anger subsided.

fond memories as a kid or their houses, that didn't have a lot of heat in the bedrooms... and those homemade quilts were always real warm...
My 94 year old grandmother still makes quilts to give and to sell. We quit buying them as we have about a dozen. I sleep with one year round, I have a summer quilt and a winter quilt.

I was thinking about having a quilt made to match my avatar. I would use it to keep warm while hunting deer from a tower stand. All I need now is a 270 Winchester.

Before she passed, Mom made quilts for all of her kids and grandkids and was starting on the greats. Mine is one of my most prized possessions. Peop!e who don't understand quilts have lived in the city too long.
I never saw the new avatars as representing a quilt. Then I saw people referring to them that way. To me it's just an abstract design. But if you want to think it's a quilt, fine.
