I am, and it's going to worse tonight. Me, and the rest of the world are going to be out of syncopation for a while, usually about Christmas.
Yeah, 0330ish for me.
I jumped on the Nordi-Track a few minutes and made coffee.
Yes.
Been up for an hour already.
Up at 5 as always. The fall back in time does not bother me as much as the spring forward does.
The old story about the Indian saying daylight time is like cutting a foot off one end of a blanket, and sewing it on the other end? Well, you can pull up on a blanket.
THE PLAN
Friday bed at 9 pm
Sat up at 3:30 am ( 1 hour early) Tired by 8 hold out until 9
Set clock back
Bed at 8 (actually 9)
Sun up at 3am
Should be worn out and in bed by 8 tonight
Mon up at 4:30 for work
Should work until the elk hunt this weekend and 2 hour time change, will be wide awake at 2:30 am staring at the camper ceiling.
The local Mennonites confuse me, as they do not use daylight savings time in their personal life, but do so in their businesses. When you are talking a time with one of them, they will refer to it as "your" and "our" time. Of course, on the other hand, a lot of things that they do confuse me.
2 things, I wish ND would go entirely to Central Time and do away with daylight savings time. I live in Mountain Time zone but work primarily in central time.
Nope. But to a retired person it's less of a big deal.
Its nice to live in a state with just one time zone.
Its nice to live in a state with just one time zone.
Kentucky has two. Eastern and Central. I'm in the Central, and try to stay out of the Eastern zone as much as possible..........no offense to Bristoe.
Right,
I would like to find some cheaper property in central Montana, 10-40 acres ( somewhere without out the Bakken Discount)
I have long been retired. I go to sleep and get up according to my own clock. The time change is just numbers on a watch dial to me
Yeah , I was up way early'
It wasn't anything to do with the clock though.
Bad belly pain.
Musta been somethin I et
Mike
Coffee's brewing and the oven is warming up the kitchen.
Takes a little getting used to, no big deal.
Yep,a couple days to get square, what really sux is it's going to get dark at 5:00
Retired here so Daylight Saving time change is pretty much a nonevent for me nowadays.
I live in eastern, work in central 30 miles away. I am screwed year round
The kids are visiting and woke me up at 0200. Might as well get a jump on the day.
My dog didn’t get the memo. Warned the wife she would be running around at 4:30 instead of 5:30.
An extra hour of peace and quiet in the AM for me.
I work nights. The time is whatever my phone says, not what my body says.
I don't care what the clock says, my head tells me different!
I've lived with this all my life..........
Still don't know what time it is.............
Its nice to live in a state with just one time zone.
Trivia: Name two states, one on the Atlantic, one on the Pacific, that are in adjacent time zones.
I'm a grumpy old man, and don't do well with any kind of change.
Not that it matters any longer, as I've been retired for seven years now.
Just DO NOT like my routine changed. (GRIN!)
Set the clock back and woke up at 3:30 this AM. Usually wake up about 4:30
Virgil B.
All of this aggravation over an "one hour" .... why not split it and call it good from here on out?
I think they should abolish DST, but I can live with it. Woke up at my usual 6:00, peed and then took a nap until the "new" 6:00. Did the usual hunt to change clocks (always forget at least one) and later will dig out the car manuals to figure out how to change them.
Also changed the battery in the smoke/CO alarm. Old one tested still good, so set it aside in case the "new" one craps out.
I do my best sleeping as an after dinner nap. I zonk out early evening, and wake up to early even with fast time.
My dog didn’t get the memo. Warned the wife she would be running around at 4:30 instead of 5:30.
Same here.
No problem to me on this end of the time change. Hate in the spring especially during turkey season.
Yeah, but I beat it this year. I set my clocks back on Thursday....
As said, dogs didn't get the memo, tho.
Neither did the Stellars Jay, who taps on the window every morning for his peanuts.

You had months to get ready.
