Even hearing the name Knight takes you back to the 90s, when they were a bigger player. Whenever I hear that now I have to check if they are still in business.

A good friend of mine worked for Knight/Pradco, several years ago he had some extra barrels but I think the closes to what you want is 45/70. If you are interested I can contact him & see what he still has.

I have a buddie that has a 45-70 barrel that I belive he will sell! he has a Muzzleloader and a 270 pm if intrested, he lives down state here in Michigan, but will see him tomorrow. with the deer opener on friday might be a week or two to make the sale! he wants me to help him sell some guns thru here! his stuff is in Very good shape, he buys but doesnt use them much!

With everybody going to custom built bolt actions for zone 3 there's got to be some single shot barrels out there...

You would think so, Al. But there weren't all that many of those KP-1's made.
And who knows how many 444 barrels.

I goof up when I bought it, they had all kinds of barrels for it. Then they quit making the kp1. But they sill had barrels for them. I got a 270 for it, then I failed to get anymore. I you know I want a 444 marlin. They had a 44 mag kp1 also. You can still be one on gunbroker, the complete gun .

No but I have a KP 1 in 45'70 with scope dies and bullets. Killed a bunch of Ohio deer and I do not hunt there any more. Set and accurate at 300. Listed here in classifieds

Yes I went to bed fairly early.
Needed my beauty sleep. It wasn’t enough, I’m still ugly this morning.
We ran out of propane in the travel trailer last night. I woke up this morning to 39*inside the trailer. Brrrrr!
My nephew is headed home today, and after stinking up the woods tracking the buck yesterday, I figured that it might be best to give it some time to calm down.
