One cup of coffee down, I wish I was still in bed fast asleep.

The sun still comes up at the same old time. Well maybe a minute or two later.

I'm on my second cup. It's frigid out there. The high today is going to be 30 degrees below normal.

We have a good two inches of snow, and about 80 acres of corn left. A batch of corn maybe drying, and it's colder than a banker's heart.

This is a late rising for me. I usually get up at 6:30 on a Monday morning. On days off, I give myself an extra hour.

Was up at 3:30, clocked in at 5:00 AM. Off at 3:30, working 6 days this week. I’m looking forward to Thanksgiving week, took the whole week off, really on had to use vacation for Monday and Tuesday. We get paid the other 3 days.

12F here right now... And that MIGHT be the 'high' today...

Damn! I feel warm now. A balmy 8F here on the “low line”!

55F down here on the Florida gulf coast. I had to put on long sleeves to go for my morning walk, it sucks!

I would freeze to death up there where it is so cold.

First cup, stolen from the maker while it's still gurgling. Dog did his constitutional and had breakfast. Wife still sawing logs. 46f and quiet. Monday...

I'm up an hour later, wab - but in the next time zone west. On my second cup now and the weather station next to my keyboard here says it is a surprising 40° outside. Weak cold front approaching any time now, though. High supposed to be about 52°.

It's 5 degrees out, we got about 3" of snow last night and I just finished my 1st pot of coffee.

It was 48 degrees when I got up at 5:00. Now it is beginning to drop and forecast is for 2” of snow tonight. My son just texted from his deerstand outside of Columbia MO. 20 mph winds and freezing rain.

Damn! I wish I was sitting in my deer stand !!

Best part of the day is before sunrise. Good morning to all.

exactly right...still in the midst of a deep snooze

-3 degrees at our Montana deer camp on Whiskey Ridge. Yesterday I was sweating bullets hauling deer quarters in 55-60 degree temperatures.

70 here in southeast Texas.
