I think the Global Climate Crisis is having an effect on my cereal. Seems more stale than normal. Not sure why, it's dated two years newer than the rest. I'm sure it's the Climate Crisis.
Well then, why don't you simply discard yourself from it. Real damn simple to do. You don't like it, then stay the hell away from it. Problem solved for you. Next.
But from what I've seen, most folks here will ignore the scientific consensus and find a kook, conspiracy theorist, big oil shill, Republican pundit or some other form of climate change denier who says things they like.
Just a short 10,000 years ago, Seattle was under 3,000 ft of ice. Fortunately for those that choose to live in Seattle, it warmed up and melted that ice.

No doubt it appears like human caused climate change is real to those who continually have their heads buried deep in liberal socialist politician's and media's anuses...

LMAO! Right from your first link. Listen to scientists! It's NOT a debate! It's NOT a debate! It's NOT a debate! As your link says, they are "virtually unanimous"!
"This is a list of scientists who have made statements that conflict with the scientific consensus on global warming as summarized by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change and endorsed by other scientific bodies. A minority are climatologists.
Nearly all publishing climate scientists (97–98%) are convinced by the evidence that humans are significantly contributing to global warming.
Nearly all publishing climate scientists (97–98%) support the consensus on anthropogenic climate change. The scientific consensus is that the global average surface temperature has risen over the past century. Scientific opinion on climate change was summarized in the 2001 Third Assessment Report of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC). The main conclusions on global warming at that time were as follows:
The global average surface temperature has risen 0.6 ± 0.2 °C since the late 19th century, and 0.17 °C per decade in the years 1971–2001.
"There is new and stronger evidence that most of the warming observed over the last 50 years is attributable to human activities", in particular emissions of the greenhouse gases carbon dioxide and methane.
If greenhouse gas emissions continue the warming will also continue, with temperatures projected to increase by 1.4 °C to 5.8 °C between 1990 and 2100. Accompanying this temperature increase will be increases in some types of extreme weather and a projected sea level rise. The balance of impacts of global warming become significantly negative at larger values of warming.
These findings are recognized by the national science academies of all the major industrialized nations; the consensus has strengthened over time and is now virtually unanimous. The level of consensus correlates with expertise in climate science."

Save up and get yourself a sense of humor and a sense of proportion. Half of it is just guys venting and cutting up. Sounds like the real campfires you go to must be pretty boring. Sure sometimes it's over the top, that's the way it goes in the real world so don't take it oh so seriously, you'll be happier.
another occasional handle used by one or two of our resident trolls, when they want to make their numbers look more than they are...probably belongs to Gooseschitt, Pedophiler or one of those EuroTrash types that pop in occasionally also..
and sure, we are all racists, if we don't look at the world the way the leftists do.. they use the term so often, it has no sense of value at all anyway....
Let this one masturbate himself away, getting his 15 seconds of internet fame... by being a troll on the campfire...
probably either Pedophiler or one of his NAMBLA buddies.....

And you are anti-American and anti-constitutional. Freedom allows people to like or dislike others for any reason they desire. You dont support the 1 A, like others who dont support the 2A, which is proper tender for dumbasses. You think all should be as you are, which is how dimocommies think.
I am still free to dislike you for your weight, height, smell, clothes you wear or because you breathe air, and I do.
There was another dickweed on here recently with almost the same MO: Been a member since 2007 with less than 400 posts. WT?
This one? Mugwump or whatever? You're just now coming to the conclusion that there are a bunch of troglodytes on here? How big is the rock you've been hiding under for 12 years?

LOL! Climate change is happening, just like it's always done, and always will. Man isn't changing the climate. We are polluting some things. We could do better, but we don't make a bit of difference in how the weather works.

I just knew when I read the OP this would turn into a productive discussion. You people always disappoint me. Add disappointing to the list of things you are.
We weren’t born disliking people of other races, they made us dislike them. Do you think they aren’t racist? They hire their own kind, run the whites out if they get a position that allows them to do so.

Posts like this, out of the blue, are what makes one suspect accounts get hijacked.
Here's a dude that joined 12 years ago. Until this year, the posts have been sporadic, and very few of them have ever been posted on the Hunter's Campfire. Very apolitical, and mostly rifles and deer hunting and such. I his first political statement, he wants to take a shot at the one forum that discusses different social and political issues. Under the guise of shielding us from criticism from the Lefty PC crowd, he throws out this public service message to criticize the site, the posters, the administrators and the owner of the site..

Can I get a hearty GFY for this new troll?
There's a Mogwai on a motorcycle forum I used to participate in. He was in insufferable schittwhistle. Feels like it may be the same person.

The "scientists" don't want to talk about that little bout of global warming. They can't explain it in a way that fits the narrative.
Notwithstanding the forum is privately owned and can be run however the owner sees fit. Sensorship, in my opinion, is not ever the answer when it comes to the free flow of ideas. Having said that, your reason for eliminating this portion of the forum is as follows:

Accepting your premise as true, you would have this portion of the forum closed down. I assume you realize that all of the information and discussions you disdain would flow into other portions of the forum. Stifling the language and discourse with which you disagree doesn't make it go away.
Son if you think we're racist then give us some examples. If you think we're anti science then give some footnoted examples. Don't rely on crap like mr. goosedung and give us blanket statements about the World having come together on man made global warming. The fact is climate science like a lot of other scientific adventures is more about the money than the science. Give me the money and I'll validate you're wildest accusations. The free world is currently socialist to one degree or another and the UN is ran by those idiots so they're going to spout whatever garbage they think they can make money off of. Fact is our country is the only one they want to pay up for everyone else's misuse of fuel. China, India and many others are high on the list of those precious carbon emissions you so eagerly yearn to get rid of though it beats me what you think you're going to do when you can't cook your food or get to work. Do you work? Son if you're going to go into enemy territory and start a war remember to load your weapon. Don't come here slinging wild accusations with nothing to back them up with. Kinda makes you look silly.

Racist??? ......Hmmm....ya know...when I was a teenager, I took Dr. Kings "I have a dream" speech to heart & decided his words about judging a man by the content of his character and not by the color of his skin, were words of great wisdom.....any hatred I have for black people is because of the content of their character....NOT the color of their skin....if they don't like it, maybe they should change their content of their character (behavior)....I guess it's easier to call us racist..... Anti science??? Not me.....and I'm gonna assume you're referring to either god or global warming.....personally I'm an agnostic and I've yet to come to the conclusion that the global warming we're going through is caused by man because if you "REALLY" want follow the science, it won't lead you to conclude that it's because of the carbon emissions of man or farting cows....unless you were riding the short bus during your formative years...
Men, one more time. Just ignore posters you want to leave.
Fallen on deaf ears, next.
Getting quite a few of those corksuckers on the fire arent we, Wabi?
I am reminded of the Indians welcoming Europeans into the New World. The savage men had it made-hunting, fishing, fighting, screwing - and now look at Long Island.
mogwai was stripped naked and ordered to sit down. It is a tradition seemingly well authenticated that his clothes, especially his hat, which was made of leather, were long after in the keeping of the Delawares. The Indians now beat him with sticks and their fists. The fatal stake—a post about fifteen feet high—had been set firmly in the ground. mogwai's hands were bound behind his back, and a rope fastened—one end to the foot of the post, and the other to the ligature between his wrists. The rope was long enough for him to sit down, or walk around the post once or twice and return the same way. mogwai then called to Girty and asked if they intended to burn him. Girty answered, "Yes." He then replied he would take it all patiently. Upon this, Captain Pipe made a speech to the Indians, who, at its conclusion, yelled a hideous and hearty assent to what had been said.
That the stake was planted in the immediate vicinity, so abundantly described, there can be no doubt. Here, then, at about four o'clock in the afternoon, of Tuesday, June 11, 1782, the torture began.
The Indian men took up their guns and shot powder into mogwai's naked body from his feet as far up as his neck. It was the opinion of Knight that not less than seventy loads were discharged upon him! They then crowded about him, and, to the best of Knight's observation, cut off both his ears; for when the throng had dispersed, he saw the blood running from both sides of his head!
The fire was about six or seven yards from the post to which mogwai was tied. It was made of small hickory poles burnt quite through in the middle, each end of the poles remaining about six feet in length. Three or four Indians by turns would take up, individually, one of these burning pieces of wood, and apply it to his naked body, already burnt black with powder.
These tormentors presented themselves on every side of him, so that, whichever way he ran round the post, they met him with the burning [bleep]. Some of the squaws took broad boards, upon which they would carry a quantity of burning coals and hot embers and throw on him; so that, in a short time, he had nothing but coals of fire and hot ashes to walk on!
mogwai, at this period of his suffering, besought the Almighty to have mercy on his soul, spoke very low, and bore his torments with the most manly fortitude. He continued, in all the extremities of pain, for an hour and three-quarters or two hours longer, as near as Knight could judge; when, at last, being almost spent, he lay down upon his stomach.
It was a tradition, long after repeated by the Delawares and Wyandots, that mogwai breathed his last just at the going down of the sun.

Sounds very similar to the fate of one Colonel Crawford. In response to the massacre of the Moravian Indians at Gnattenhutten (sic).

OK, tell us what's so bad about all that? We're not roaming around in gangs look for some member of another race to beat down for no reason, we often don't pay attention to those whose income depends on spouting the party line on climate change. And hate? Hate you say? Tell me about the evil ones who slaughter school kids. Why do the all seem to come from civil minded peace loving types like you? How about those gun haters who pick up one and go out and kill as many as possible? Been here a number of years and haven't seen one of those among us,

Interesting story but I highly doubt the OP mogwai is capable of anywhere near that ones repentance.and manly fortitude.
My guess is he's likely more along the lines of this mogwai:
The word mogwai is the transliteration of the Cantonese word 魔鬼 (Jyutping: mo1 gwai2; Standard Chinese: 魔鬼; pinyin: móguǐ) meaning "monster", "evil spirit", "devil" or "demon". In Chinese culture
According to Chinese tradition, mogwai are certain demons, which often inflict harm on humans. They are said to reproduce sexually during mating seasons triggered by the coming of rain. Supposedly, they take care to breed at these times because rain signifies rich and full times ahead.[1]
The term "mo" derives from the Sanskrit "Mara", meaning 'evil beings' (literally "death"). In Hinduism and Buddhism, Mara determines fates of death and desire that tether people to an unending cycle of reincarnation and suffering. He leads people to sin, misdeeds and self-destruction.[2] Meanwhile, "gui" does not necessarily mean 'evil' or demonic spirits. Classically, it simply means deceased spirits or souls of the dead. Nevertheless, in modern Chinese, it has evolved to refer usually to the dead spirits or ghosts of non-family members that may take vengeance on living humans who caused them pain when they were still living. It is common for the living to redress their sins by sacrificing money to gui by burning (usually fake) paper banknotes so that gui can have funds to use in their afterlife.
Notably, the modern popular use of mogui as 'demonic' and gui as 'devils' is somewhat a consequence of Western influences as Chinese-language biblical texts translate the Satan in the Book of Job and the Greek term 'diabolos' as mogui.

As far as Gooseturd and Mugwump are concerned, yes climate change is real. That it's man's fault is total nonsence. Do a little search on weather and what makes weather/climate work. It's the sun, stupid. Paul B.

Conflicting reports of Girty's behavior that day. Some said that he egged the Injuns on and taunted Crawford. Others say that Pipe had already told him he would take Crawford's place if he said anything.

Mogwai: Wise-up! It ain't "racist" if it's true! Or maybe in your shallow and dim witted thought processes ANY comment or criticism about negro's IS racist/politically correct? If indeed you think that way (and it appears to me you do!) then you are worse off than I even expect. Its dimwitted, cowardly, dilberts like you that has allowed for a significant percentage of our citizenry to get away with animalistic behaviors (up to and including rampant senseless murders!) that has diminished our society and made it so unsafe! Sheesh. Hold into the wind VarmintGuy
There is also the notorious anti-vaxxing studies, which have been largely discreited, but many people still believe them.
No such thing as settled science.
Unless it's "science" used to "prove" facts that just aren't so, like climate change. For lieberals this has to be "settled" so their destruction of the world can proceed.
Climate changes a lot. Man has a very small part in that.
But the false flag of climate change is intended not to preserve the world but to destroy capitalism by means of socialism.
Capitalism, even in it's small and dwindling application in the Western world, has given the whole world a huge jumpstart. It's demise, if allowed, will be totally tragic.
The reason they want capitalism removed is so they can control production of everything and gain immense wealth that will disappear as the world is plunged into universal squalor.
