Sorry about your dog!

Yeah 12 years and 3/4s. Bladder tumor, spread to kidney and possible back leg. Youngest daughter comes home from college the following Monday. Was hoping he was gonna make it but If he starts suffering might have to put him down next week sometime. Shes all broken up, all the kids were over here crying yesterday when we got back from the vet.

Dog has been eating like a king though.

Have a good night Jim.

Been almost 12 weeks since I lost my best friend. I think of him constantly. He hated the idea of wasting away from cancer long before he knew he was wasting away from cancer.

Lost my Dad suddenly in '74 and sometimes he's on my mind again. Just not as much as right after it happened. Hope you get to sleep soon Jim. Be Well, Rustyzipper.

Had to put down my damn good dog "DASH" this week.
I'm gonna miss this one bad.

every time i go out in the back yard i look over and see the fresh grave of my little buddy we buried in august. he was an ornery little schit sometimes but it still seems weird not to have him in the house.

as for dead friends, one of my best buds died in 92. i was newly married and had a baby on the way and was moving into my first home. he missed out on all that because he chose to drink, drug and drive. i saw his brother the other day and they looked almost like twins. he has aged appropriately and when i first saw him the first thought i had was if my buddy would look like this now.

out of bad, sometimes comes good. i haven't drove drunk since.

Sorry about your friend Jim 🙁

I was out on the front porch after I got home late after a typical fun-filled Friday night at the laundromat. Arctic for around here; 37F out on the porch.

On cold nights I mix whole milk 50/50 with Merlot and warm it in the microwave (there, that oughtta give the old-guy-by-the-computer crew something to chew on 🙂).

To the rest of you guys, alcohol mixed with memories of Ol’ Shep has gotta be a pretty potent combination grin

Sorry for the troubles you fellows are having. When a good friend, loved one, faithful pet dies, a little of us dies also.

Take care

Got a busy day coming up. Not work related though.

Gotta take Young Daniel to Mr. Donald's House for his birthday lunch. Then we are going to take him shopping for a new toy gun or something.

On the way home we are stopping off at the bowling alley. Richard boy got invited to a birthday bowling party.

Cocktails to follow.

We had good news after a scare. Daughter-in-law stated bleeding yesterday ( three months pregnant)
So went to emergency room.

They figured out she had been constipated. She was bearing down too hard, broke small blood vessel. All is good with her, scared us thinking she wad going to lose the baby.

Burned a hole in the bed spring piece while fabbing a plumbing part. Renter probably won't even notice it- it's a good mattress up top.

That might take a little explaining to the wife...
