between cooking and working on my truck.....

No tweezers in the house? What is stuck in there anyways? Usually, I press around wide from the base and squeeze to get difficult splinters and grab them with tweezers. Sometimes pushing with the tweezers works too. Hahaha. Needle nose pliers.

A tick?

big splinter off a fence, probably over a inch long.

I'd get the belt sander after the needle-nose and have some tweezers right quick.

I would have covered that days before with Ichthammol ung and had that draw it out.

Thankfully the Drs fingernails and surgical instruments had been dipped in burbon or something to be sterile.

It's too late fer hitting fences on the run while holding fresh Wallermellon. What did he kype? wink

skateboarding.

If he can stand the pain, squeeze and nudge it out enough to grab with the pliers. Hahaha. No way I'd let someone else do it to me though. I'd do it myself. Your woman might have some of those scissor grip tweezers. Those are sturdier than the squeeze type. Mom always had some for plucking her eyebrows. Or do what poboy said and sacrifice your needle nose on a grinder. Make sure you go full-blown old west cowboy on him and get them red hot in a fire before you do ... hahaha laugh

I got one like that at about his age. Stepped on a corn cobb near the barn and didnt make the jump over the top strand of barbed wire. It didnt really hurt but the old doc said it had to be stitched up. Since I had asthma and grandad didnt know if I might be allergic to the ? horse serum involved anesthetic him and cousins held me down while doc sewed me up. That hurt.

Needless to say, his sutures didnt look near that neat.

My younger son got his grace and athletic ability from his mother. He rode a perfectly good Honda dirt bike through a barbed wire fence. Cut his throat ear to ear. Thank God it was only a scratch. I thought he’d bleed out til I closely examined it. I think that was the end of his short lived bike riding phase.
