We've had two LG HD big screen televisions in a row fail over a total of a little over 6 years.

The first failed at a little over 3 years, the second failed in the 3rd year of use.

Both were bought brand new.

Luckily, contrary to my usual avoidance of extended warranties, I went with an extra 4 years on each and I'm glad I did.

This time the extended warranty insurance payoff went toward a Samsung.

I also bought extended warranty on it, too.

I got a gin and tonic, went online and it said WW BF sales were already online. Now I pull up the TV I want and the BF deal on TV I want has it for 1199. WTH?

Now wish I'd have bought it at lunch. I dont know if i should wait till 6 PM tomorrow and see if it goes below 899 or just buy it tomorrow for that.
