I like that song Mary Did You Know, but these guys do a great job singing it too.

I would appreciate if someone can imbed this.

I am thrilled to see this thread taking off so well
Jesus sought me when a stranger,
Wandering from the fold of God;
He, to rescue me from danger,
Interposed His precious blood;
How His kindness yet pursues me
Mortal tongue can never tell,
Clothed in flesh, till death shall loose me
I cannot proclaim it well.

Special Thanksgiving This Year. Thank you LORD! GLORY GLORY GLORY
When you read the story behind the songs, it makes them the more special

John Newton was a blastfamous sailor that was saved during a storm at sea. Amazing Grace was a hymn he wrote.

Thank all for this thread.
Our worship team has done a very respectable job on this one in the past. I find it incredibly moving.
Great I Am

This is a skit accompanied by a great song. 10 years later it is still the best thing I’ve ever seen of YouTube.
Lifehouse Everything Skit
George,

I've come to realize that God does a lot that He gets no credit for...and gets blamed for much that He has nothing to do with.

For my part, I have chosen to look at Calvary...and Trust Him with my life.

Hope you have a GREAT Thanksgiving my friend!

The Revelation Song moves me to tears when I hear it. Every time I hear it.
"I'm so glad to be part of the family of God"

Sorry for all you've been thru and damn glad your still with us! I hope your tribulations are over!!!
Most played on my iPod sooths my soul, sometimes i put it on repeat and let it go 4-5 times!!!

Mike
This one will get you, whether with the amazing vocals or the lyrics:
The Rochesters "He Knows My Name"

These girls' vocals are about the purist crystal clear you can get from a human:
The Church Sisters "In the Garden"

If you consider the lyrics a Christian reference, this is mighty good music:
The Church Sisters "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For"

They ain't holding nothing back, beautiful voices:
The Church Sisters "I Surrender All"

And this one always seems appropo within its performance setting:
Zach Williams "Live from Harding Prison--No Longer Slaves"

For the bluegrass lovers, this one will get you every time:
Jamie Wilson "I Can't Even Walk"
I love this thread, may it live on well past the holiday.
This one is special in it's typical of music people and what happens when they get together...

For those of you ready to die, this gets the point across:
Hayde Bluegrass Orchestra "All My Tears (It Don't Matter Where You Bury Me)"
Let's not forget the kiddos!!!!

LAY IT DOWN - I guess this is not traditional but it slaps me every time I hear it!

And one of my all time favorites - UNDO ME

Appropriate for tomorrow... or any day really. Signature line worthy for sure:
I really identify with this one:

Simply the best Christian song is.... "Jesus Loves Me"
and just one more if ya don't mind

Could not watch this for a loooong time. You should read Isaiah 53 before you see it. A world of difference from the pretty gold cross worn about the neck of professing Christians. Changed my perspective on the Crucifixion.

Thank you, friend. Happy Thanksgiving

I like her singing.

A number of years ago, I was in a bad place. Outwardly, things were going well, but on the inside things were out of sorts. A friend of mine from high school showed up unexpectedly one day with a new find, a Cadillac Eldorado from the year of our graduation, and asked me out for a quick ride to show it off. We got in and started down the road. He turned on the radio; I didn't even know he was a Christian.

It has been a spiritual tonic for me ever since.

The other song has a much deeper and darker history with me. Back in the early 90's, I was a successful network salesman. I was making tons of money. I had a wife and kids and living the suburban dream. Then, from October to November, I started downhill with a strange illness that started out as a bad chest cold and ended up with me stashed in the Oncology ward with nobody really knowing what was wrong. It's a long story about how I made it back. However, it all started while I was listening to this:
