LONDON, Nov 29 (Reuters) - British police shot a man on Friday after a stabbing in the London Bridge area, a security source told Reuters.
Videos and photographs on Twitter showed several police cars and buses on the bridge and a truck straddling several lanes.

A 14-second video clip on Twitter filmed from a high vantage point on the opposite side of the street showed what appeared to be three police officers backing away from a man lying on the pavement.

Two of the officers are pointing rifles at the man, who can be seen moving slightly. Reuters could not independently verify the footage.

"Police were called at 1:58 p.m. to a stabbing at premises near to London Bridge," police said in a statement. "A man has been detained by police. We believe a number of people have been injured."

Witnesses told British media that the police arrived quickly at the scene soon after shots were heard.

It is believed somebody was stabbed in the London Bridge and police have shot a suspect, a security source told Reuters

Ya, among the British Working Class of my childhood, the recreational practice of busting heads came close third to boozing and football (soccer) in popularity, in fact all three were often combined.

It was the Glasgow Irish tho, Prods vs Papists, who upped the ante, way back with the World’s first recorded acid attacks, and more recently to knives and razors. You could say notched up yet again over in Belfast to include firearms and explosives, but that was more political than recreational.

Here's the real deal from what I can gather.

Man attacks and stabs a couple of people.

Bystanders disarm and subdue attacker.

Police arrive, see fake bomb vest and kill disarmed attacker.

I saw a video of the citizen who got the knife away......it appeared to be a 12" kitchen knife.

Pre-2016, it would have been a simple matter to pop some obvious search terms into either Google or YouTube and come up with rabbi after rabbi explaining the role of Muslims in the sweeping away of the Christian West, and admitting that this is why they so vigorously work towards arranging for mass immigration of Muslims into the West.
