Sauteed in Momma's buffalo sauce.
Heaped on a toasted Kaiser roll, slice of sharp cheddar.
Under the broiler, melt the cheese, maybe brown it slightly.
Big tablespoon of blue cheese on the top bun whomp it down on the rest.


They don't suck.

Turkey curry is tonight's edition of leftovers. The last of the gravy makes a great base for the curry sauce. Add some vinegar and ginger to the cranberry sauce, and it makes a good chutney.

Bud light. It's for dessert also.

Baby back ribs, baked beans, tossed salad, and bread rolls.

Made a big pot of white beans. Had it over some rice with Crystal's hot sauce.

Middle son is simmering turkey and rice soup. A spoonful indicates he nailed it.

Wife made a shepherd's pie wife the leftovers and froze it.

Jalapeno burger at the local brew pub and 2 glasses of Boneyard IPA. Home now with a glass of Wellers 107 and going to watch the Seahawks kill the Vikings.

A grilled seafood platter and a couple of Bud Lights in Houma, LA. Had a Muffaleta sandwich for Lunch in Lafayette. Both were great.

Homemade chicken pot pie, noodles, salad at daughter’s house, but I had to earn it. The valves on their water heater were leaking. I had to replace them.

Big bowl of my veggie soup with hot cornbread and a big slice of sweet potato pie. It’s nap time now.

Rotisserie pigeon from Wally World, raw fries, big ass salad, apple pie with a slice of cheese for dessert, all washed down with a big glass of milk.

Cornbread! Damn, that sounds good. Think I'll make some chile and cornbread tomorrow.

Venison stir fry.

Some pre-cooked pot roast ya put in the microwave and a thing of matching loaded mashed potatoes. Buy the roast, and potatoes were free. They weren’t bad at all.

Interesting take on those things. Might be worth a try someday.

Last 4 evenings, Thursday included of course, it's been turkey and fixins.

My wife must have needed a change as she's making some sort of version of chili tonight.

Think I'll pick the turkey carcass tomorrow and make soup. Fixins are running low anyway, I might just get one more turkey dinner out of it though.

Been "going to town" on the venison lately !

Went to the hospital to visit my wife, and when they brought dinner it was the wrong one. They brought the right one and told me I could eat the wrong one. Hospital hamburger, yum, not.

stuffed venison backstop. Cream cheese and jalepenos and wrapped with bacon. Aged 12 days on ice. VERY good.

This morning, spam and fried eggs.

Grilled ham and cheese with chips...and a fake diet Dr Pepper.

Livin' large.

Just started making those poppers.


Some sharp cheddar and granulated garlic and onion in the cream cheese mix is good.

Sitka Blacktail steaks with a vegatable medley of Brussel sproats, onion, asparagus with bacon mixed in, topped off with a glass of red wine.

Progresso soup.

I have to have as little fat as possible right now. Yesterday I had about 12 grams of fat for the whole day.


I survive on cardboard and water mostly.........
