We stopped in our vet's office to pay our bill. Some people there had five puppies in a laundry basket, and two more in a pet carrier. I asked, they are English Bulldogs. One sold already, I asked how much. $2000.00 each.

2000$ for a dog, well it best be a working dog! I got the last one from a rancher, he didn't think the little girl would be tough enough for the job. Smartest little border collie I ever had. Free also!

$2000 for english bulldogs is cheap. Generally would expect to pay at least $3500 up to $5000+ around here.

My current lab cost $1500 seven years ago. That was the most I ever paid for a dog. And if the breeder could duplicate my Ellie I would gladly pay double.

The point was, how cute a box of puppies looked.
