Someone called the police last night. A neighbor supposedly had a rowdy and loud party and a fight broke out. Police photo on TV this morning showing the carnage in our neighborhood cause by a few young thugs and some old people (obviously also thugs) feuding over who can fart the loudest in a WalMart after dining at CiCi's Pizza.

Snagged a bunch of wheel weights off people,s vehicles on the way out in the parking lot with my channel locks.


Gonna make some bullets in the van down by the river tonight.
Got a small 120v inverter that runs off my 12v power outlet in the van for the turkey cooker...

Gonna turn a smooth 3k easy on these .17 cal bullets I'm gonna cast.

Started the daily patrol at about 7:15 and checked a couple gates and fences. One bad spot, easy fix.

Joint effort with my dad and we fed about 380 head of various bovines.

It is supposed to get cold so I spent maybe one hour cutting a little bit of porch wood AND even got the oil changed on a yuppie tractor.
(6 gallons of 5w-40....uber chit....)







By this time it is about noon and that's when the real work started....

Get the hydraulics fixed on the tractor

Jim, JD sent a guy over and he replaced the couplers with supposedly a better version. It hasn't been cold enough to test anything but we will find out in the next 2-3 days if it's really fixed or not. Zero issues in the last couple weeks.

They also found some unrelated computer/electrical issue and did an 'update' which turned out be a PIA. Tractor was basically dead for a day all because of a computer. Kinda scary how vulnerable they are.


Haven't got a bill yet but the kid working on it mentioned we wouldn't be paying for the update problem.
