Took my son to see this movie this evening. It was really well done. Peter Jackson took archival WW1 footage from the Imperial War Museum and created a 3D feature documentary. The film was computer enhanced to correct motion rate and colorized. Voice tracks were developed by using forensic speech pathologists to read the subjects lips. One of the most interesting things was the discussion of German troops. No one, even other Germans, liked the Prussians. They were the true warriors. The English liked the Bavarians and thought that many non-Prussian snipers missed on purpose. They also hated machine gunners above all else.

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.
