When did it becomes the official and ubiquitous representation of the Christmas season? Calendars, wall hangings snow globes, ornaments, and any other type of decoration that you can imagine - they all feature it.

I kinda like it John. Don't have to be red.

It did seem to take over the Christmas season this year as far as decor. I have no idea why but I agree with Wabigoon. I kinda like it too

It is not magical, dream like and unattainable. It portrays something that is alot more realistic and believable.

Hits home with me as the first truck I remember Dad having was a Chevy just like that only in dark blue. Probably a '49. I have a memory of winding down into the canyon that was the town dump when we lived in Missouri. I must've only been three years old.
