I looked on YouTube not long ago, couldn’t find it, thought maybe it had expired.

The flinter is a 20 ga (.62 cal) smoothbore, .60 cal ball over 80 grains of fffg, 0.010 pre-lubed Oxyoke patch, groups about 4” at 50 yds.

The dove was 1 1/2oz of no. 7 shot, felt wad, 80gr fffg. Took me several tries, finally that one white wing was going away, no lead necessary.

A guy I knew took a buffalo cow with a similar load out of a .62 cal smoothbore flinter trade gun; 80 grains fffg, .60 cal ball, except he used dead grass as wadding. Recovered the ball under the hide on the far side.

With your skills you could get an elk with one no problem.
