My good friend Keith is turning 81 years young tomorrow. He had heart bypass surgery last March, and is doing fine.
This is Keith.
Looks pretty good for 81.
Usually this character, he’s 4.
We take these clowns with us occasionally, Great Grandad is 87.
Catching fish is a bonus.
I lost one of my very best friends on November 2nd.
A grand slamming sheep hunter, accomplished trapper and as good a friend as you could ask for.
He retired in Montana 10 years ago and lived an incredible life.
I attended his service in Bozeman last month.

He’s a corker for sure. Here’s his latest big adventure, his mom took him deer hunting while I was at work. They did OK.
Sorry to hear of this, Sal. Thanks for the pics. He was blessed.

That boy gonna be a lady killer if he isn’t already!!
Really good ones are a rarity and new ones are hard to cultivate. Lost my best to brain surgery. Did not take his life, but scrambled him such that he's essentially non functional. Pretty much on my own now, but can occasionally talk Cookie into coming along.
See some real jewels in the post above. Hang on to them.
I've hunted with the same guy since 1985. We normally spend two weeks every September bowhunting elk. For many years, we packed 14-18 miles into a wilderness area. Some years we wouldn't see another person for two weeks. We don't have horses anymore so we're relegated to hunting with the crowds now but we still have a good time. It's pretty hard to find someone that you are that compatible with. It might be easier to find a new wife than a hunting partner that I can mesh so well with.
That kid with the frog reminds me of something my great uncle told my Dad, "For being such an ugly bastard, you sure got cute kids". If that frog was bigger or the kid smaller, we wouldn't know who had ahold of who.
I have several hunting friends. I am the driving force to begin with but once the fire is lit, it burns bright. Guys want to hunt and be tribal but they allow things to get in the way.
Had two fishing partners. Lost one of them this year. Been fishing together since 1975. He was 10 years older than me. Lots of memories. RIP Mac. Hasbeen
My daughters, mostly. The wife isn't really into fishing. Have a coupl'a buddies who I go with on occasion. Need to go with my Dad more....
I’ve never cared for fishing. If I could shoot at them with a 7 mag, I’d be all over that!!!
