It is, we have to pass through it sorta regularly when we go to the big towns for specialist appointments, the car dealer, Home Depot type stores.
It has a decent True Value store, good to better Mexican restaurant, and gas is nearly $1 a gallon cheaper than on our side of the border. Always fill up there on the way home. Couple of other eateries I need to try, but lately it's not been time to eat when we pass through.
Ag town, lots of cattle, hay, and ........................taters grown there. Watched them switch a number of hay fields over to hemp this past summer.
If one is ever in the area, Beware. Like other small towns, it can be a bit of a speed trap. Drops from 55 to 45 to 30 in town and many times there's an officer in the area enforcing it. And, the school is on the main drag so a few times a day it drops to 20MPH. Usually well signed, so there's no excuse for not knowing, unless one is looking at their phone or some scheidt.
