I am hoping for some new blue jeans. Mine are getting worn.

What are you hoping for????
I've asked for socks and a pair of wranglers.
To be able to see my grandkids.
Prescription sunglasses
A leather strap cutter.

The straps I am currently whipping the kids with are quite crooked and amateurish.

A strap cutter would really help.
To never see or hear Schiff/Pelosi/Nadler/Schummer again.....would be a start.
Already got what I want a pretty healthy family that love one another.

Never ever dreamed I’d have had this great of a life. Truly humbled & grateful

Right there is what it's all about!
Turkey, pecan pie, rolls, stuffing.....................sitting in front of the fireplace.
Another ranch...

Is that too much to ask? grin

Amen to that !
I got what I wanted this year, that's just being at home and spending it with the family. Evidently, the wife didn't believe that and kept on my case. She has since ordered me an O/U 28 gauge for grouse hunting.
10-15 acres in Ozarks.
A winning lottery ticket
To be appointed world Dictator
An island off of Canada and 1 nuclear warhead (defensive)
Other than that, I'm good to go
As long as no one gets 11" of penetration it'll be a great Christmas!

Oh wait, wrong thread. grin
My kids asked me what I wanted for Christmas. I asked for a Chosura 3000 grit sharpening stone for my knives. (If I don't get it, I'll just buy it for myself!) grin

Santa will never bring me one....
So i will just get one on my own.
Need a good suppresive fire wpn for a maneuver squad versus the Liberal Socialist Democrats in the future.....

It would be nice to be able to hear some of what is going on during the family celebrations. But that’s not going to happen. I always wanted to find a 22 LR under the tree(Remington Nylon 12 if there is a real Santa) never got one in 60 years of wanting one.

I really have all I could ever ask for and don’t want anything...All three of my sons and their families are good solid Christians. They love their brothers and get along well together. I’m good...but that Nylon 12 is still out there somewhere.
Whirled Peas.

No,honestly I hate peas.

I'm just trying my best not to be Grumpy Santa as my wife likes Christmas time.

If she, I, and the dogs stay healthy I'm happy. Got enough "stuff" already...........actually, like a good American, I've got too much.

I’d prefer to have them dropped off in North Korea or China without papers or identification.
I settled, years ago, on the MAC 90 with two 75-round drum mags. Can lay down an effective, sustained cover fire for squad tactics. Also useful for a final protective fire, when applied in conjunction with another equivalent setup on the opposite flank.
Peace on Earth, and Good Will towards Men. Lord knows this mean old planet needs it....
Answered prayers, and peace
Nothing, but wouldn't bitch about another load of firewood on the back porch, that's okay, i'll have to go get that one myself.
NR hunting licences and wolf tags for Idaho, Wyoming and Montana.

On my Christmas list is a range finder for bow hunting and a new cot. The canvas on my old Army cot is starting to rip. One wrong move and I'll end up on the ground.
I want a decent electric razor. I've been scraping my skin for years, and I want to go back to a buzzer.

Word........

Always an option .
Outfit couple guys with akm,s with 3 or 4 drums and 5 or 6 40 rd mags apeice, 1 per fire team
Lay down some good grazing fire shifting it 25 35 yards ahead of a assualt element from a base of fire element.
Switch it up depending on which can adavance better.
Combine that with a support by fire element with some stand off.
It is a beautiful synchronized thing that just comes automatic from well rehearesed squad and platoon battle drills.

God I miss seeing rounds zipping in front of me covering my direction of travel.

Throw in some motars , artillery, CAS fixed or rotary.
Throw in squad and platoon level AT,4,s, SMAWD,s, Carl Gustav,s

Just one big beautiful cooridinated concert of action.
It is comforting...
And if a plan goes to schitt you can always adapt on the fly cause you got the assets.
The Radio is one of the deadliest wpn,s on the battlefeild.
Specially with a good FO and CAS guy their with ya.

All useless skills and knowledge now.
Might be useful one day.
Compond that nation wide......
The Liberal Socialist Democrats and their voters cant hang....

Lol!!!!

Sorry for hi jacking the Christmas thread.
Lol!!!

Me too, my family’s party is Saturday. I will get to see them then. There is one in the oven, eager to see him in May.
Well let me think. I have had a broken arm, I have a plate and 13 screws in my right ankle, had brain surgery and now am totally deaf in my right ear, broke my back in a car accident, and this week was diagnosed with cancer. For Christmas I want to have them say the cancer is totally curable (that's the early prognosis) so I can keep being the luckiest man in the world. Terrific wife for 40 years, wonderful kids and grandkids, terrific friends and hunting/fishing partners, great home, and I wouldn't mind a touch of snow. The wife and I don't buy each other Christmas gifts (usually). We have more than what we need and are blessed far beyond what we deserve.
Happy Birthday Jesus!
A successful recovery from my rotator cuff surgery, scheduled for the 23rd. And maybe a couple of traditional pocketknives.
I got it last night at Sportsman's Warehouse here in SE MI. Bought myself a new Vexilar flx 20 Pro Pack sonar for the up coming ice fishing season. The girl friend has a short list of some less costly things, mainly a collapsible wagon for trips to the rifle range. Hope everyone has a safe and happy holiday season.
i don't want for a thing. all i would like for Christmas is to see my kids and grandkids enjoy their gifts and take a moment as a family to recognize the real meaning of Christmas.
I wish I had a girlfriend that looks like Cameron in the Terminator Sarah Conners Chronicles

Companion request:
I’ll ask Santa for a well-aimed bus as that bunch go to lunch!
Get my health back to normal!!!

Very practical, nothing worse than a crooked wippin strap.

Me, I'd like some... decent boxer shorts with elastic in the waist. Prime rib and a BJ would also be nice, but definitely boxers.
For our nation to remain at peace for 2020.

War sucks.

I second that!!
Nothing.

Maybe a little quiet time and a glass of egg nog.
128 pounds of IMR4064.

A lot of bullets too would be nice..................
No more trolls.............
I want my wife's cancer to stay away.
Re: What do you want for Christmas???

Some good news delivered in the obituaries.

(...oh and maybe a lucky rabbits foot sterling silver keychain.)

2nd, 3rd, 4th (or whatever) to the above. That IS what it is all about !
I want some 140 grain 7mm Trophy bonded tipped bullets. They are hard to come by.
Time at home with the family, slice or 3 of Apple Pie and I am good.
I have had the rule for years now No One Buy me Anything. Take the money you were going to spend and donate it to the Wounder Warrior project.
They need it far more than I do.
I'd like to see pots of tar bubbling, bags of feathers, horses with rails roped to them and a long line of naked dimocrats standing on the nations Capital steps waiting for thier tar and feathers
Talley lightweight 1" low modified Tikka ring/base combo from Whittakers!

Anybody???
As the years progress, I am less enamored with Christmas.

Don't get me wrong. I'm a good Christian. I dig the whole nativity thing. I'm also not one of these emotionally mangled individuals who have to have a Yuletide catharsis. Quite to the contrary. I've had a good life in that regard. I love my family.

No, my problem is strictly hormonal. From about the time-change in November onward I get progressively more absent-minded, and withdrawn. I lose things easily. I make stupid mistakes. I forget things. It's been getting worse since my 20's. Folically Challenged accompanied me on my first December hunting trip in decades. He will attest that I'm not my normal self.

For me, this would be the ideal time of year to be left alone. I like to read. I like to cook. I like to let my beard grow. I like to make needed updates to my websites and keep a fire burning. Instead, I've got to deal with all these people that expect me to be jolly and sociable. As patriarch of the clan, I've got to be front-and-center at family gatherings.

It probably stems from a Thyroid deficiency. It's been treated for almost a decade now. The cold is probably sapping my T3 and that's what is making me zooey. The lack of light also probably has something to do with it.

For me, if you'd just move Christmas to mid January, I'd be happy as a clam. My worst times are about 3 weeks to either side of the Solstice. By the third week in January, I'm usually starting to improve. That would be my first wish. Barring that, I wish I could be just left alone for the next few weeks.

If I can't have that, I think I'd like to have a Concentricity Gauge so that I can measure run-out on all my cartridges. Yes, being left alone in the Reloading Cave, haunched over my bench measuring runout would be ideal.

Oh, wait! KYHillChick is getting me one for Christmas. Duh.

There! I feel better already.
eggnog...eggnog at the store, year round.
April 1st! grin

Sign me up for a healthy dose of this^^^^ and some new socks grin
To move outa this state.
I've been thinking on this thread for a while. May God bless, and grant Salvation to myself, and all my family.

I, and we all have the promise, the fulfillment is all that is left.

Continued good health for my wife...family & myself
