Lessee: New Years Eve, 1967. . . Hmmmm. If I remember correctly, my biggest concerns were Aquaman, Archie Comics, and my Marx Gung Ho Commando Set

Mom got really sick with a stomach bug at the New Year's Party and stayed in bed for days.

Congratulations! That is a great milestone in this day and age.

I would have been just dating my high school sweetheart - now my wife. I think we went to a dance at the college to celebrate New Year's eve in '67 - she made a green dress to wear to the dance. We dated for 4 years before I could afford to ask her to marry me.

Damn.... Now that was long ago & far away........ I was a senior in high school. Although I do recall getting drunk that new years eve at a friends place. He lived with his older sister & her husband who rented the whole second floor of an old farmhouse. They were out for the night and 5 or 6 of us got tanked big time. I walked a mile and a half home while intoxicated and damn near froze wearing only a light jacket and no gloves.

I was in a bar in Penang,Malaysia on that date. Fun times.

That set included a very realistic 1911 that was easily one of the best cap guns I ever owned. It had a working slide. I was very unhappy when it finally succumbed.
