Maybe the fire should start an all volunteer Amish flogging squad, no shortage of candidates.
I think we should send some of our leftist chicks over there for them to practice on........since they love musloids so much.

You must whip it! Whip it good!!!
It doesn't meet our test of cruel and unusual punishment but it is their law, she was caught in a hotel room with a man, and she knew the punishment if she got caught. I can't feel sorry for her under the circumstances.
From the article:
""Sharia in Aceh is still lenient," said resident Saiful Tengkuh.
"Aceh needs harsher punishments like stoning, not just whipping. Someone committing adultery should be stoned 100 times," he added.
"Aceh, home to about 5 million people, once mulled beheading for serious crimes, but the central government ruled it out."
Hard to believe that the Libs have no problem with this---
Don't know if the punishment fits the crime in this case, but for some crimes I think flogging is a much better solution than putting a family's breadwinner in jail long enough that the kids have to be sent into the foster care system.

Agreed, but if you don't like the punishment, don't do the crime. It sounds like she was caught in the act.
I'm content to let the Indonesians determine the punishments for their crimes.
i think you will change your mind if you knew the details on punishment for the same crime for man vs woman , for example woman has to buried up to her neck and man up to his waist for stoning and if any of them can free himself then they are free to go ( guess who can't )
another example :
Somalia
In October 2008, a girl, Aisha Ibrahim Duhulow, was buried up to her neck at a Somalian football stadium, then stoned to death in front of more than 1,000 people. The stoning occurred after she had allegedly pleaded guilty to adultery in a sharia court in Kismayo, a city that was controlled by Islamist insurgents. According to the insurgents she had stated that she wanted sharia law to apply.[107] However, other sources state that the victim had been crying, had begged for mercy and had to be forced into the hole before being buried up to her neck in the ground.[108] Amnesty International later learned that the girl was in fact 13 years old and had been arrested by al-Shabab militia after she had reported being gang-raped by three men.[109]
In December 2009, another instance of stoning was publicised after Mohamed Abukar Ibrahim was accused of adultery by the Hizbul Islam militant group.[110]
In September 2014, Somali al Shabaab militants stoned a woman to death, after she was declared guilty of adultery by an informal court.[111]

If Indonesians don't like it, it's their responsibility to change it.
No, they should not be allowed to immigrate here.

As I recall, Jesus did. Who is qualified, based on His example, to throw the first stone or take the first swing?

I would wonder if Indonesian "foster care" doesn't mean the streets to be sexually abused the rest of their lives, which will be short.

Where's the man. Is there no punishment for him?
And then it came to pass in Jerusalem that a harlot stoning was about to start. Just as the first stone was about to be thrown Jesus waded into the crowd and moved to protect the harlot saying "Let you among us without sin cast the first stone!"
Whereupon a frail whitehaired lady in the back of the crowd moved forward and winged a big rock at the criminal. Immediately the crowd took up the stoning.
Jesus stood there redfaced, shaking his head. "You know Ma, sometimes you really piss me off!"
A society that believes it is just to execute somebody for being gang-raped is a very sick society.
Nice place for Ilhan Omar, Tlaib, and AOC to emigrate. Sharia law is what they want. Right? Here ya go, darlins. Have at it.

Yes, Jesus did. His purpose, though, was to show the hypocrisy of the Pharisees. They were trying to set Jesus up, get him to say the law was wrong. Like the Muslims, they seemed to be punishing only the woman. There was no man in the dock. While Jesus forgave her, it didn't change the fact that she'd sinned. Jesus told her to sin no more. Jesus knew that she would receive him.
We can't just wholesale tell criminals that we forgive them and release them or society would turn into anarchy in a hurry. They have to be held accountable. We might not agree with Indonesia's law, but it is their law and she apparently broke it, getting caught in the act.

Really? I feel bad for people born in a country with religious retards at the helm who made stupid laws like this, and they have to try to live under them.
Where's the man. Is there no punishment for him?
No kidding. In their view, it's his right. But, she is wrong.
Mandatory castration for the men involved, and that problem will stop real quick. No flogging crew needed.
more punishment according to them :
If someone cuts of both the breasts of a woman (in which case full diyah shall be paid). And in case he cuts off one breast he should
pay diyah equal to half of that which is payable for killing a woman.
diyah = punitive damage , ( may be 50 camels , not kidding )

Every country has laws specific to their history and moral code. The woman was flogged, but could have just as easily been killed in other countries or end up with the cheated husbands house and truck in mine and maybe yours. Just gotta know YOUR country or suffer the consequences. MY concern is when crazy zealots come to the USA and want to pollute our system of laws under the Constitution, with Shiria law from one of the schithole countries where that’s normal.
Ain't that the B1tch from 5th element?

very few feminist or liberal groups are making any attempts to help these women ( or men ) . i think we need to expose them as much as we can . even a Facebook post will help.

Hear, hear!
I think we ought to have corporal punishment guidelines alongside the time in prison punishment guidelines. And give the guilty party the option of a good rattan whipping.
For my own part, were I guilty of some crime, I would prefer a rattan whipping like the gal in the OP will get to serving some stretch of time. Maybe not lose my job and keep supporting my family after all is said and done. Maybe cut recidivism.

I don't know exactly how many women were stripped and whipped in colonial America but it was enough to lead to two parts of the constitution - no cruel and unusual punishment and the 1st Amendment freedom of religion. The Puritans were very hard on Quakers in particular and whipping a partially naked Quaker woman was cause for a public festival.

Sure it could always be worse, no argument there, but I still feel bad for someone who has to live under stupid laws and religious retardation. I don't want the crazy zealots from over there to come here either, full agreement on that!
This subject came up over on FB. All I said was “[bleep] muslims “, and poof, off to FB jail for another 7 days. Go figure.
Doubt they would even blink if you said f'kn Christians.
Is there any video of the flogging? I want to see some a$$ whipping.
They can't do anything right. If using a whip is it not a whipping? The punisher was holding a cane, and was going to deliver a caning. Flogging is yet a different tool.
Muslims are flat out the most disgusting humans I've seen on the planet and I've sailed 3/4 of it!
