Let's see what you looked like back in the day.

The fish got smaller, and I got bigger after this picture. frown

...and no, I wasn't holding it way out. See my elbows bent. grin

If you delete the ?1 at the end of your picture string it will work. The IMG code is looking for a string to end with .jpg

Boy Hanco that picture tugs on the heartstrings. As long as I live I wont forget my 3 yr old granddaughters first hunting trip. Me and mom had 4 or 5 blankets on her at 530 or so. Daylight at 630 or so. When the deer started moving before daylight Lily told us we needed to call a rescue truck because the deer.were stuck and needed help getting out of the woods.
My boys first pig.

My buddies from Chamblee High School in Atlanta. Spring of 1968, we were senior football players. We were fishing at Unicoi State Park in north Georgia.
From the left, John Drake, Jeff Lemm, and Tim Albin. I took the picture.
They had just stocked the creek with rainbow trout and we racked up.
John had a football scholarship to Vanderbilt and he started for 2 years. He got an engineering degree and was a big exec with the railroad.
Tim had an appointment to the Air Force Academy. He graduated and flew F4s and went on to fly for Eastern.

Don't have many outdoors pictures from childhood but a couple from 5yo to 16yo, we fished creeks and rivers mostly, hunted doves and quail.

Great pics, Hunt. I finally wore out my down jacket like that.
Steel rods, Shakespeare reels, 50 pound braided line, green. Little Joe spinners, minnows, dog eared sinkers, six fish limit.

Good fishing. Good eating. My grandmother must have cooked on a Perfection kerosene range. At times we ate fish for breakfast, and they sometimes made fish gravy.

My grandparents drove a 47 jeep woody wagon. Good times, better memories

Pyramid lake about 1977. I caught it with a 1/4 oz black crappie jig and a Cast-A-Bubble from shore at Sutcliff. I was using my Alcedo Micron rod and a Langley Spinlite Deluxe and 4 lb test line. It took over an hour to land and went almost 18 pounds.
