He's democrat, his wife is republican. They seem to get along.

I don't think he is evil. Just rooting for his chosen team.

Even he can see the dems are driving their train off the track.

"We have candidates on the debate stage talking about open borders and decriminalizing illegal immigration. They’re talking about doing away with nuclear energy and fracking. You’ve got Bernie Sanders talking about letting criminals and terrorists vote from jail cells. It doesn’t matter what you think about any of that, or if there are good arguments — talking about that is not how you win a national election. It’s not how you become a majoritarian party."

How true. This guy is talking sense, but the Dems don't want to listen.

For whatever it’s worth he’s the smartest of all of the democrats.

I enjoy his dialogues when he’s on tv. The democrats would be very wise to listen to James and heed what he says but his words are falling on deaf ears and closed minds.

He’s a lot like Zel Miller was. Zel’s parting words to the democrats at his farewell retirement speech were sheer prophesy. You only have to witness the state of the democrat party to see how correct Zel was.

I figure it’s as good a time as any to reset the far Lefts radical mindset, end socialist candidates and the mindset that free shît is an entitlement.

Realign the ideology of, I should get something - Change it right now to, I personally need to give something of myself to make something of myself. Not gimme shît because I always got a trophy for showing up.

Toot,
Aside from my post being a 8th grade level oversimplified version of what it would require to begin changing a raised belief mentality that progress is the only way of bettering social issues, and curing the wide deficit that separates us now.

Many would look adversely upon America returning to it’s core values that made us a great nation before. It would find major resistance by those too young, or, too ignorant to know what is and was appealing about our past...Which has been slowly ripped away over the last 47 years by an ideology that improvement only comes from changing everything to be inclusive and fit everyone and everything.

Our values that once bound people to each other and to a nation, which moved us forward at a rapid pace of achieving American Might, Liberty, Justice and Dreams of everyday Americans was found lacking, yet instead of identifying need based improvement, and making corrections....

A selective group of progressive, liberal minded thinkers with an agenda to rework the fabric of our American culture took hold and gained rapid momentum which identified anyone speaking out against it being labeled as racist, haters, uneducated and regressive.

Not to take this post too long, which is my pattern...Suffice to say, we will need to fight and fight hard to restrain, repair, and return a part of the America we lost, not for better, but for the worse.

Not all ideas are good. Not all ideas, no matter how evolved at the time are worth the damage that is always unseen by those who consider themselves “Woke” to social needs and injustices...Fûck that!

I truly wish that I had written what you wrote here. Not to overdo the truth of it,,it deserves to be a sticky.

At this moment in time about the only way that I see that we can begin to unravel and reshape what those past 47 yrs have brought us to is at the ballot box. The big dog in the cage is our Courts, namely our Federal Courts and those will be decided in November, 2020. That date is and will be a pivotal point for America. There’s so much more that could be said about this.
To quote Senator Charles Schumer, “ the prize, of course, is our federal courts and especially our Supreme Court as those shape our future direction “. The fugger didn’t lie.

What makes me hang my head about all of it, is that it happened on my watch.

Amen...

As long as we all understand collectively that 2020 is the most important presidential election in our lifetime and our turnout reflects this.

Our courts, both Federal and SCOTUS will be on the path of finally securing, through change, a future that may resemble our past.

I so badly want to eventually be able to say out loud in public...America’s future is bright, safe, and secure again, thanks to the men and women who remembered our past...

And, to anyone who tries to say they are “Woke”. I hope we all help to put them back to sleep, quickly and publicly, to ensure radical liberalism is never allowed to rise again and harm our nation.

Stay pissed, and vote...The only other option is the smell of gunpowder on the wind. And, nobody truly wants that to be our last option.

Not necessarily now but in the past Carville was one of the most powerful people in the democrat party. He’s tied to Judge Edmond Reggie (Louisiana Judge) who’s tied directly to the Kennedy dynasty via marriage of his daughter.

Carville is still no slouch in national politics but he fully acknowledges that the democrat party that he belonged to has left the scene of the crime and taken a sinister direction. Those are his words.

What Carville bemoans, literally, is the loss of a two party system which, with all of its warts, generally was healthy for America. His words.

The only smart thing to do is to vote for your party's nominee. It's about survival.

The smart thing to do is to work out party differences in the primary process, vote for the best candidate there. If your candidate loses, swallow your pride and go with the party. By the time you get to November, it's time to put up a unified front.

There is not Leftward Lurch by the Democrat Party. They have been governing with far left Socialist/Communist policies for decades.

The only difference with "Today's" Democrat is that they no long try and hide the truth and who/what they really are.

Bones is upset, not that the party is "lurching" left, but that they no longer try and hide it. He is upset because they have let the cat out of the bag, a bag that he has worked so hard at trying to keep closed.

Matalin on Carville: "He's the president, founder and sole member of 'The Andy Griffith Rerun Club.' He loves that show."

Carville on Matalin: "Marrying a Republican means getting used to celibacy most of the time."

Matalin on Carville: "James appeared as a prosecutor in the movie 'The People vs. Larry Flynt.' He was a great actor. I knew he would be, having had to work for the Clinton administration."

Carville on Matalin: "Mary was featured in an issue of 'George' magazine in 1998 when they did a story of the worst-dressed women in politics. They said she always looks like she just finished changing a tire."

Matalin on Carville: "One of my favorite parts of the book 'Primary Colors' is their description of James. They wrote: 'He looked to have been sired from a love scene in the movie"Deliverance." ' I have to say James' physical attraction is an acquired taste."

Yes he does.
The only reason people like Carville are criticizing the real far left crowd is because they are afraid of losing power.
He knows most of the country is not ready to embrace full blown socialism or communism.
That is the direction where he does want the country to go when he feels the voters will accept it.

Ohhh, my.

Somebody please give our podnah here a little lesson in the history of American politics.

257heaven you did mean to add some several emoticons to that post, right?

I'm talking about the politics of personal destruction....out in the open. Carville was the innovator. No emoticons necessary.

Google Lee Atwater.

Google Andy Jackson presidential campaign.

Snake Eyes didn’t start dirty politics. Not be a long shot.

He’s a smart guy, just on the wrong side.

Older and a lot more history than hs.

Go to a college bookstore and pick up a cheap used copy of American History. Good reading, wont break the bank and betting you’ll really enjoy it. Read about the Mukrackers, Yellow Journalism, etc.

I think you’re plenty wise enough to know that dirty politics, up to and including assassinations, have been with us quite a long while. Carville didn’t invent it but he did exponentiate it. He was good at it,too.

Again no offense meant.

Slum, do you remember when “operatives” laced George McGovern’s steering wheel with concentrated LSD and when he arrived at an important Convention he was talking crazier than a scchhitt house rat? Everybody present or watching was wondering “what happened to George “?

No offense taken. Just means you're going to die before me. LOL. No offense meant, of course.

Hes married to Mary Matalin
Forget what show she had but once i learned that figured her insane or liar. Quit watching.

He's nothing but a political hack, and a Clinton political hit man.

He's making the case for Hillary.

She's going to ride into the Democraps convention on a white horse to save the day.

The entire impeachment debacle was designed to weaken or remove Trump for Hillary to run again.

Going to love watching her go down in flames again

Yeah [bleep], he’s nothing more than a political whore. A crafty bastid for sure.

Have to agree.

He actually debated policy and could take a joke.

Today’s left has no sense of humor whatsoever.

In the democrat party of today, he isn't even relevant. Hell, he's not even a memory.

The dems will suffer immensely, not listening to what he's saying.. and that's a beautiful thing to watch.

Even that turd Michael Moore can see what's happening.

If they were smart, they’d listen to ole snake eyes, even listen to fat boy, Michael Moore. They both telling them the truth.

But, I’m happy they’re so arrogant and deceived. Their inspiration, the father of liars, is a deceiver. They exude pure evil and hate. Trump has flushed them. They can no longer keep it in the closet, run as a moderate, govern as a Marxist. Cat’s out of the bag. They’ve been outed. What is hidden is being revealed.

Trump’s crazy like a fox.

He's a vicious, unprincipled, partisan hack, with no redeeming human qualities I can detect. He's also pretty smart, and sees that right now, the Dems are totally fugged. As an old-schooler, the new rabid class of Democrats (Socialists really) probably won't be interested in anything he has to offer.
