My wife's uncle ,navy veteran and retired postman,had a stroke behind the wheel. Totalled his car.he has a head injury,that's why they didn t figure out the stroke right away.as soon as they did,transfered him to stroke hospital upper
East side,nyc. .my wife saw him last night.drain in his skull to reduce swelling,feeding tube,etc.he did manage some gibberish,no real words.
Not looking good. he could use a few prayers,thanks.

Thank you every one ! The Dr. Is going to try and take the drain out of his skull.if the swelling doesn't 't go down,they will do an operation to implant the drain into his stomache to drain.hopefully they can get him stable enough to go to Burke rehab,which is a well known and quality place close by.I think it's going to be a long road for Uncle Harold.
