Good for her! Very nice video.
She got a hot one in her hair. Needs a skull cap.

Real good for her welding though, I'd be a proud mom n dad!
You could hear that one sizzle all the way to her scalp....
I've welded many a panel he is doing a good job keeping the heat down. A flatter panel is the toughest....the structural stuff she has going on is more forgiving but she is doing well ...
I attended a community college 1969 to 1971 and one man you took some night classes worked for the Brunswick Corporation in a local plant that produced warheads and other parts for the defense department. They did a lot of TIG welding in their assembly and he told us that they employed/trained women to provide the welds because they had found women easier to train, plus had the finesse and attention to detail to provide superior welds in a production basis. They just seemed to have the touch.

I would suspect they also could pay them less but I don't remember us asking or him telling us that.

yeah welding exhaust one time under the car while it was raining.... electrifying experience.
eek There is just nothing to compare with lying in a tight place (like under a car) and getting shocked or having a drop of slag sear a hole into your bicep or armpit. There is nowhere to go to get away from it.....
What a little doll! And, smart as a whip...her dad should busting buttons with pride!

I hated when one of my balers or windrowers wore a hole thru the flat sheet metal. I’d always end up trying to weld it in the most awkward position possible - still have slag scars on both arms, my chest and my neck. Worst part was how crappy the patch looked when I was finished.
Worst burn I ever got welding
Two Words
Belly Button
9 months to heal
Starting my self on fire under my trailer and got 3rd deg burn on the back of my shoulder was nothing compared to that Belly Button burn

She did real good and she has stage presents as well
Father has to be very proud of her.
Used to stick weld on crusty old concrete batch plants. Caught myself on fire many times laying on my back with goobers popping off everywhere as I'm digging down through the rust and old concrete to get to good steel for a weld.

Ear wax sizzling with a chunk of slag that won't come out. Nipple burned from glowing goobers in my shirt pocket.

I still wear the scar from catching my socks on fire.
Wedged under a stock trailer - I reminded myself - welding with kitchen matches in your shirt pocket is a BAD idea.
Almost lost my right nipple on that one - missed by less than a half-inch! smile
