Looking down on Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs.

The Snowstorm Dredge mined and milled the placer gold along the middle fork of the South Platte River in Colorado. It’s 50 feet wide, 90 feet long, and it’s boom was 150 feet. It processed 600 tons of riverbed gravel a day.
Remains of Morley, Colorado. Morley was a coal mining town, a company town of C, F and I. The Keyhole on Long’s Peak in Colorado. Looking down on El Capitan from the summit of Guadalupe Peak in Texas. Climbing up on Cathedral Rock. Sedona, Arizona.

I grew up in a single parent home ; So, every so often, I like to fill a tackle box with gear and find a kid that needs it and does not have the resources or a mentor and give it to them. This is a pic of Stephen, who wanted to join his schools fishing team. His mom sent me this pic and a nice message from Stephen telling me how I made his day; I responded, "No Stephen , you made mine; good fishing". That same look of wonderment for simple things,I had as a kid.

If you get after redfish with lures you should try the bone Bill Dance Badonka Donk low pitch. If you do, change the hooks though, as big ones can roll and straighten the factory ones.

Number 3 grandson is a city kid but loves tractors,combines,cattle and anything ranch or farm related..

Eagles are pretty rare around here. My grandparents used to go down to the Delaware and watch eagles as a special retiree hobby. My grandfather passed away in the beginning of November. His ashes were mailed to the farm and this eagle showed up the same day, and hung around for a few days.

Today, 4yo grandson's mini horsehand class, not that he needs lessons on horses but he needs the social connect with others. Daughter say's he's antisocial around crowds like me and she wants to break him of it early... my own daughter, calls him little Pappy.

This was going off Brown Ridge late last October.

8 to10 hours later you make it back to the pickup and trailer. It's a real chitty feeling when you think you got all the cows gathered and up to the top only to look back and see strays down at the water!

What’s the red dog?

I hunted over a young Gordon in Kansas that pointed EVERYTHING - the tightest lock I've ever seen. He pointed a rabbit in the ditch next to the truck and the owner picked him up bodily and set him in the truck - still on point. It was like the owner loaded up a full body mount.

Ha ha. That was when I unloaded it. I ran spindles through the bottom corners in order to put wheels on it. It's made really light so I can move it from spot to spot pretty easy.
